My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 230

I was card making till late in the evening last night, so much fun!   I end up making two cards with this weeks sketch.   I will go ahead and when I am stamping and die cutting multiples of the images, make several at once and save them for later when I want to do some faster card making.   Sometimes I will go ahead and color up all the images while I have supplies out.    Last night, I was having fun coloring up the dog from Birdie Brown's You Make My Tail Wag in different colors.    I ended making both into a card.   First up, this was my original card based upon the sketch.

Stamps: My Favorite Things BB You Make My Tail Wag, Paw Print Background
Inks: MFT Hybrid Black Licorice, Steel Grey Dye, Distress Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive, Versafine Black Onyx

Simons Says Monday challenge - Thank you

I created this card for the Simons Says Monday Challenge Blog!    I had colored up these images when I have spare time then when I am ready to create a card!   I liked to think that it saves me time but I don't think that it does, I tend to then be really fussy about what I am doing.  :-)

Stamps:  MFT Birdie Brown The Whole Herd, Green Pasutres, Linen Background, Swiss dot Background
Ink: MFT Hybrid Black Licorice, Jelly Bean Green
Papers: MFT Smooth White, Sno Cone, Jelly Bean Green, Sour Apple, Copic Xpress it
Tools: MFT BB Whole Herd and Green Pastures dies, Barn Die, Rolling Hills, Campy Tree Line

With the leftovers, I made a small card 3 3/4 x 4.

Birthday Wishes - My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge

Happy Memorial Day!   Hope you are enjoying your holiday.   I have been extremely busy with work and home.  Graduation day is tomorrow and we have been celebrating with family and friends.     I created two cards today and used the My Favorite Things Sketch, MFTWSC229 for the starting point.

I channeled Keisha Campbell from the MFT Design team and this card for inspiration.   She does a wonderful job with all her projects, love her use of neutrals with pops of color.

I started by picking my colors of Tangy Orange, Orange Fizz,  Sour Apple and Steel Grey for my card on a Smooth White card stock base.

Stamps: MFT Simply Circle Backgrounds
Inks: ME Moonlight pigment ink
Papers: MFT Smooth White, Steel Grey, Tangy Orange, Sour Apple, Orange Fizz
Tools: MFT Blueprints 13 & 14, Tag Talk, Hemp twine, Pretty Pink Posh Clear 4 mm and 6 mm sequins, Stitched Vertical Rectangles

The sketch called for a set of three but I used one for the sentiment.   I had cut out three flowers, so with the extra I created a bonus card!

Using the same sketch I used the one flower and sentiment.

Stamps:  MFT Striped Background, LJD Cheerful Blessings
Inks: Versamark, SSS Fog
Papers: MFT Smooth White, Steel Grey, Tangy Orange, Orange Fizz, Sour Apple
Tools: Blueprints 13 & 14, Stitched Vertical Rectangles, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, PPP Orange Sequins

Happy Memorial Day!

Howdy!! My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge

Howdy!    I have been super busy with just a little time for crafting.     I can't believe that I had my new MFT products for a week before I could ink them up.   This card actually took me a couple of days to complete because I had to do a little at a time and sneak a minute or too to get crafty.        This card was made with the new stamp set from Birdie Brown, The Whole Herd.  It just cracks me up when I look at the stamps and the sentiments.   I also used my new BB Green Pastures for the Howdy sentiment.

Stamps: MFT Whole Herd, Green Pastures, Gingham Background
Inks: MFT Hybrid Black Licorice, Lemon Drop, Distress inks: Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Pumice Stone, Versamark
Papers: MFT Smooth White, Lemon Drop, Sno Cone, SU Basic Black
Tools: MFT Blueprints 16 & 13,  Stitchable Dot Circle Stax, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Sakura White Gel Pen, Sakura Black Gel Pen, Eclipse Masking Paper

I Knead You - Just Fur You

Today I am sharing a card created with the MFT I Knead You stamp set.     I did a little masking and inking on this card.  One thing to watch out for, my black ink was not quite set and smudged when I did my ink blending.     I always thought it was a fast drying ink but next time I will be sure to set with my heat tool first before blending.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps:  MFT Birdie Brown I Knead You
Ink: MFT Hybrid Black Licorice, SSS Sea Glass, SSS Mint
Paper: Neenah Solar White 80 lb, SU Basic Black, PI Kraft, MFT Pink Lemonade
