Reverse Confetti - Bloom 'N Buds

Hey there!   Hope you are having an excellent week!   This weekend, I had some time to get crafty and made a card with Reverse Confetti Bloom 'N Buds stamp set.  This pin inspired the card and design.     I loved the soft colors and the pops of gold and black.    I used the Hello Confetti Cuts, the Blooms 'N Buds Confetti Cuts and the Lacy Scallop Frame, all from Reverse Confetti.

Color Throw Down Challenge - Reverse Confetti Blooms 'N Buds

Here there! I decided to play along with the Color Throw Down Challenge.    I used two Reverse Confetti Stamps sets - Bloom 'n Buds and The Lords Strength.

I also used the Bloom 'n Buds Confetti Cuts along with the Lacy Scallop Frame die.   The sentiment was Gold heat embossed with Ranger Gold embossing powder for the tan in the challenge.   I added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish it off.

Lawn Fawn - Ready Set Snow

Hey there!   Around where I live I am starting to see signs of spring!  I have a few trees that are starting to bloom and I can't wait!   So why am I sharing a winter card?    I had no time for crafting and this was a really simple card to make.

The card was made using a Lawn Fawn set Ready Set Snow and a MFT snowfall background stamp set.  I used an add on die set to cut the snow globe out.   The images were colored with Copic markers.  The snowflakes were heat embossed with white embossing powder.

A little red twine bow and I was done!

My Favorite Things Otterly love you

I seriously have depleted my birthday card stash!   My mother recently asked me to provide her with some birthday cards because she was all out!   So I used the Otterly
Love You stamp set and made a quick birth day card.   I think he is totally adorable, swimming on his back with a party hat and some balloons!      The balloons and the party hat are from another Birdie Brown stamp set called Beary Special Birthday.   All images were colored with Copic markers and Glossy accents was added to the balloons.

Reverse Confetti - Paw Prints and Figure of Speech

Hey there!    Happy Saturday to you!    Hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.    I am sharing a card that I did for the Reverse Confetti - Sketch for you to try - challenge.   I used some new for me Reverse Confetti sets: Paw Prints and Figure of Speech.

The Figure of Speech stamps were used to create a background.  (I am not going to share how many times that I tried to make this background and on the last stamp: I shifted the panel and double stamped the image, ugh!)   Tone on tone was used to make it settle as the background.

I then stamped and colored my images with Copics.   Black speech bubble was heat embossed to make it pop and add some sparkle.   I also add some sparkle tot he bones.   Instead of a circle that is in the sketch, I used my puppy and his bones.

Hope you get a chance to be creative this weekend!

My Favorite Things - Otterly Love You

This past weeks MFT Card Challenge sketch challenge drew my eye this week.   It has been ages since I had done one!    I loved the simple layout and created a card with my new Birdie Brown set.   I started out  doing some emboss resist with white heat embossing  and the Balloon String background stamp set.   The panel was then ink blended with and several Distress inks: Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China.   I stamped and colored the Otters from the Birdie Brown Otterly Love you stamp set and then cut them out.   Several sequins were added to highlights on the blue ocean background!    Some Clear Wink of Stella was add to the red heart.

Neat and Tangled - My Favorite Nut - Simon Wednesday Challenge

This week it's all about love.... the Simon Wednesday Challenge that is!   This week's theme is the color of love.   So I used my Neat and Tangled My Favorite Nut stamp set and Simon Says Falling Hearts stencil to create a Valentine Card.   I used Distress Inks and applied thru the stencil and cut the panel down to 3 3/4 by 5 inches.     I created a small window for a mini shaker and add some Martha Stewart heart glittered hearts.

Father's Day Card - My Favorite Things Warm & Fuzzy Friends

Here is a Father's Day card that I made for my dad this year.    I am a little early but had colored up the image and thought he was cute for this type of card   The Bear is from MFT's Warm & Fuzzy Friends stamp set and the sentiment is from Mama Elephant Mini Messages.  I stamped the main panel of Tangy Orange with the Lined Up Dots Background stamp with Tangy Orange ink.   I used the Rectangle Peek a Boo frame and added my bear that was colored with Copics.  Wooden stars were added as a final accent!
