Reverse Confetti - Bear Hugs and Bitty Banners

Happy Friday!   YAY!  Love weekends!   They are for sleeping in and crafting! :-) At least that is the plan for me this weekend.    My card today shares the Reverse Confetti and Bitty Banner stamp set.   I colored the image with Copic markers.

My card went really fast by using patterned paper for the main panel and a simple layout.  I love the blue, green and brown of the paper.    The bitty banner set has some really cute small sentiments.  I also used the die which will cut the banner and another will create a layer to place the banner cut on.   (I did not use the second banner on my card.)

I used a Sakura White Gel pen to add detail to the image. A simple frame and some twine finish it off.   Aren't those koala's so cute?  They color up really quickly and make such a cute card.

My Favorite Things - Space Explorer

I am sharing another card that I made with the My Favorite Things Birdie Brown Space Explorer set. I have been experimenting with making galaxy backgrounds.   They are so much fun to make.    To get ideas, go onto Pinterest and search for them and you will get so much inspiration for colors to add.

I used Distress Inks in the following colors to make this background:  Mustard Seed, Dusty Concord, Peacock Feathers, and Black Soot onto Bristol smooth cards stock.    I then splattered it with water and Copic Opaque white ink that had been watered down to thin it out.    I then sprayed and splattered it with some homemade shimmer mist.   Look in the photo at the very bottom of the post and you can see the shimmer it added.

I decided to make it interactive with the MFT spinner circle spinner channels and the slider elements. The stamped images were stamped and colored with Copic markers.   I heat embossed the sentiment on some Black Licorice card stock from MFT.

As a final embellishment, I added Glossy Accents to the Space Explorer's helmet.

Reverse Confetti - Space Monkey

Hope you are having a fantastic weekend!   I was inspired to make this card by a card I saw some time ago, this one.   So I used my Reverse Confetti Monkey Business stamp set and a new set called Boho Vibes for the sentiment that went so well with the little space monkey.    He is dreaming big flying thru space ready to make his mark!

The background was made with Distress Inks Oxides in Faded Jeans, Broken China and Cracked Pistachio.  I watercolored the background and then sprayed with water and Mister Huey's white misting spray.

To make the space monkey, I stamped the image on Neenah Solar white paper with MFT Hybrid Black Licorice ink and colored with Copic markers.    I used MFT Circle 2 die to cut one from vellum and one circle from transparency.    To be able to add the clear circle cut to the monkey, I covered the whole circe with adhesive.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and then white heat embossed with white embossing powder.    To make it pop off the card, I laid a shadow with a C3 Copic marker on the underside of the sentiment.

The main panel was trimmed down and then added to Smooth White A2 card base with strong adhesive as the panel had been watercolored and had warped some.

Isn't he adorable!

These koala bears are just so adorable.    I made a really simple card with the Lacy Scallop Circle and Sunburst cover plate dies from Reverse Confetti.   The sentiment is from the Reverse Confetti Bitty Banners and Bitty Banners Confetti cuts.   The Bear Hugs image was colored with Copic markers.

The paper is from My Favorite Things: Steel Grey and Grout Gray.   The white is Neenah 90 lb.   The sentiment was stamped in Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo ink the main stamped image was stamped in MFT Hybrid Black Licorice ink which is Copic friendly.

My Favorite Things - Space Explorer

I am sharing another card that I made with the My Favorite Things Space Explorer set.   This time instead of a galaxy background, I made my little moon scape for my little guy.    I used the Scenic Safari dies from MFT to create my moon scape and stamped on Grout Grey card stock with the Lots of Dots background with Grout Grey dye ink.    I sponged some additional ink on the top edge to provide more separation of the pieces.

The main black panel was stamped with the Star Celebration background with Versamark ink and clear embossing powder.    The main stamped images were colored with Copic markers and then I added clear Pico Embellisher to add more shine and dimension to the card.

Here is a close up of the shine added to the card with the clear embossing and Pico embellisher.

Reverse Confetti - Monkey Business

I have two cards to share using the Reverse Confetti Monkey Business stamp set.   I colored the images with Copic markers and then cut them out with my Scan and Cut.    I kept the color theme pretty much the same.   For the first card, I stamped with a Watercolor Stripes Background stamp from MFT with Summer Splash die ink on MFT Summer Splash card stock.   I heat embossed a sentiment on black card stock with white embossing powder.    The sentiment was cut out with a die from the MFT Blueprints 25.

For the next card, I sponged Distress ink on the top half of the card stock and then used a small circle stencil on top and then sponged more ink on top.    The sentiment was heat embossed on a die from the MFT Blueprints 20 die.  The panel was trimmed out also with the frame die from the Blueprints 20.

Here are some close up shots of the images and the coloring.

Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs

Happy Weekend!    Today I am sharing a card I made for the Reverse Confetti - Sketch for you to try challenge.     I used Reverse Confetti Bear Hugs stamp set and colored with Copic markers.

The main panel was die cut with MFT Homespun Stitch lines and then popped up on some patterned paper that is covering an A2 card base.   I sponged on some Tumbled Glass Distress ink.   I used a flag die from MFT Blueprints 29 to create the multiple flags and stamped my main sentiment on one of the flags.

The main image was stamped on Neenah Solar white and then cut out with a Reverse Confetti Cuts die Lacy Scallop Circles.   I backed with with another circle cut of some yellow patterned paper from the same pack.

My Favorite Things - Birdie Brown Space Explorer

I have had such fun with this new set from My Favorite Things and Birdie Brown.    It is so darn cute!   The other fun part is making galaxy backgrounds with my Distress Inks.    Here is one that I made that I just love, made from Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire and a tiny little bit of Black Soot on the top edge.   What is really cool, is the green that you get when you mix the Peacock Feathers with the Mustard Seed.     It's a beautiful color.    I splattered it with some Mister Huey's white misting spray.

The images were colored in with Copic Markers on Neenah Solar White.   I white heat embossed the sentiment on a black moon shaped panel.   Clear Spectrum Noir was colored over the balloons.   Isn't he adorable!   I made several cards this weekend with this set.   I will share some more over the next couple of weeks.

Reverse Confetti - Paw Prints

I need to replenish my birthday card stash.   This was a quick card to make.   I made my own background with watercolor and used an image from Paw Prints from Reverse Confetti that I had previously colored up.   FYI.... his party hat is supposed to be a sign for the doghouse in the set, but I made it into a party hat. :-)   I used the Reverse Confetti Linked Garland for party streamers.
The circle die is from My Favorite Things.
