Countdown to Confetti - Day Three - Kindness Cards & Something Wonderful

Welcome back to day three of the Reverse Confetti January Release!   Today we are featuring two new stamp sets and coordinating Confetti Cuts:  Kindness Cards and Something Wonderful.   I decided to make a few cards and then a pocket card to store or provide to someone to hold the cards.   For the pocket card, I used two pieces of A2 cardstock panels.  For each panel you will trim from the top of the fold to the opposite corner and then adhere them together with the back panels.    The trimmed diagonal flap will criss cross over each other and can be adhered to create the pocket.

I then added patterned paper from the Forever My Love paper pad to decorate the outside of the pocket.   The pocket itself was made from Mist cardstock.   Instead of a belly band, I just created a faux belly band with the patterned paper and added a stamped sentiment from the Circle Wishes stamp and Confetti Cut that went really well with this stamp set.    I created three Kindness cards to put on the inside and used Abyss, Coral, Seafoam and Peach inks on the project.

To pair up with my Kindness cards, I thought a little gift would be cute to leave with the cards.   I made a couple of goodie boxes using the Goodie Box, Goodie Box Additions and Tag Duo Confetti Cuts.   I used Navy cardstock for the Goodie Box.    To decorate my tag, I die cut the words from the Kindness Confetti Cuts.   I had been off the week of Christmas on vacation and plan to use my cards and gifts right away to give to some of my coworkers that assisted me while I was out!

The thank you on the lower goodie box has been cut multiple times to create some dimension for the sentiment! I love the you can stamp and then die cut the words out to add some additional layering elements! The Thank You cuts the two words separately so you can position them anyway that you want.  The tiny heart and hashtag come from the Kindness set as well.   There is also a little arrow that I used on my card pocket above that is available in stamp and as a Confetti Cut.

Next up is the Something Wonderful Stamp set and matching Confetti Cuts.    This set as a lovely floral image and then several beautiful sentiments that can be used for encouragement or to share love with someone.    The floral image reminds me of antique damask linens and I made two cards today with that in mind.   The sentiments look fantastic heat embossed.   I used gold and platinum embossing powders for these cards.

I stamped with Stone ink onto Stone cardstock and made a background with the floral stamp.    I then heat embossed one of the sentiments with gold embossing powder onto vellum cardstock and then wrapped it around my panel.

Here is a close up of one of the sentiments in the set, isn't it gorgeous!  I love the font!  I gold embossed some white cardstock and die cut three hearts out.   The smaller heart came from the Kindness Confetti Cuts and the larger heart is from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts.

The next card uses the same stamping process as above but this time I used Iced Aqua cardstock and Iced Aqua ink.   I varied the card a little bit by putting the sentiment on a Lacy Scalloped Frame Confetti Cut.

This time I added a single Salsa red heart and love the pop it makes against the Iced Aqua cardstock.
Once again, that sentiment again embossed beautifully onto the cardstock.

I wanted to use all the sentiments in this set so I made one more card.   This time I heat embossed the floral image with platinum embossing powder onto Stormy cardstock and die cut with the Something Wonderful Confetti Cut.

I made a frame with the Pierced Round Top layers Confetti Cut.   I then stamped my sentiment in white embossing powdered onto some Lead cardstock and popped up the frame and the floral images.

I added a twine bow with a felt flower cut using the Berry Sweet Confetti Cuts and added a sequin the middle.   I then spray some Perfect Pearls onto the entire card.
Again the floral image reminds me of antique damask linen.   That is it for me today!
