Reverse Confetti April Blog Hop!

Hey 'Fetti Fans!   We are hopping today to celebrate Mom's, Dad's and Grad's!    Please join us as we share projects today to celebrate those we love!   You can start at the Reverse Confetti Blog and hop along to all the stops.    Today I went with my version of shabby for both projects.

We are getting close to graduation around my house and I needed a graduation set for a girl.    She likes vintage so I used the Banner in Bloom set and a sentiment from the Congratulations stamp set.

I made a card to put a gift card inside and then made a matching jar full of kisses with a sweet take to embellish it.    I die cut Dark Roast card stock with the Congratulations Square Panel.    I stamped some watercolor cardstock with the Banner in Bloom stamp set using a dark brown ink and then used my Distress inks to loosely watercolor the images.     I also made an envelope for my card using my Envelope Punch board and some old scrapbook paper that matched.    Did you know their is an app for the Envelope Punch board to make any size envelope?   I just discovered it :-)

I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Congratulations stamp set and used Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.   I added a strip of RC Aqua cardstock for a pop of color.    I tied some twine around the card and then added a felt heart cut from the Circle Wishes Confetti Cuts.   To finish it off, I added some Sparkling Clear sequins.

For the cute tag on the mason jar, I used the new Dashed Line Tag and die cut from from watercolor cardstock and then stamped again with a dark brown ink and watercolored with my Distress inks.    For the tag, I added a felt flower from the Berry Sweet Confetti Cuts and sewed a light blue button.   I tied it to the jar with some raffia.

Next up, I decided to make a wine bottle tag for my mother in law for Mother's Day.   I used the new Tall Blooms stamp set and matching Tall Bloom Confetti Cuts.  I stamped and die cut them on Premier Polar White cardstock and colored in with my Copics.

I wanted to create a bouquet of flowers and decided to build my back drop on Kraft cardstock.   I die cut it twice once with the Rounded Top Layers and then a second time with the Stitched Rays Cover Panel.  I then inked the edges with some Kraft ink.

I die cut a Wreath with Midnight cardstock and then sprayed it with shimmer mist.    The banner and mom die cut are from Flowers for Mom.  I used a scrap of cardstock and covered it with Versamark ink and then covered it with Ranger Gold embossing powder and then die cut the mom.

I recently got some Katia iridescint Crystals and sprinkled them on here and there.    I layered all my pieces with lot's of foam tap to give it dimension.   I hope you have fun hopping along today and get inspired!

Next up on the hop is Kelly LuncefordShe has some gorgeous projects this week.    The complete hop list is below!  I can't wait to check out everyone's projects for today!   Have fun hopping!
