Reverse Confetti - Think Pink

Happy Memorial Day!  I played along with the CAS(E) this Sketch #273 and created a birthday card to add to my stash.   I used the Reverse Confetti Think Pink stamp set along with Elemental Stripes and the Bitty Banners stamp sets.

I stamped my images onto Premier Polar White and colored with Copic markers and then cut down with the Think Pink Confetti Cuts.    I then ink blended Iced Aqua and Lagoon ink onto the bottom of a white panel and then stamped with the same ink colors with the Elemental Stripes stamp set.

My sentiment is from Bitty Banners and I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink and die cut it with the Bitty Banners Confetti Cut.    I placed my white panel onto an Iced Aqua card base.     Here is a link to the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.    Thanks for stopping by!

Reverse Confetti - Stock Your Stash Challenge

Hey there!   It is the final week of the new Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge.  In the month of May, the theme was Birthday.   You can make anything that you want for the challenge but it must be birthday themed!  Please make sure that you check out the Reverse Confetti Blog and the Stock Your Stash post for more details.

The challenge will post on the 1st of each month and be open till noon CST on the 29th of the month.  You can enter as many times as you wish!   Check out the post on the 1st for all the details.    I am sharing my creation for the Birthday challenge for May.   I used the adorable Heart Spots stamp set with several of the release products:  Blocked Out Square Panel (used as a stencil) and the Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts.

I colored the Heart Spots with my Copic Markers and then die cut them out with the Heart Spots Confetti Cuts.   I added some glaze to the eyes and noses.    For my background, I took a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut it with the Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts and then ink blended with Parakeet and Grass inks onto the edges and coming to the center but not covering the full panel.

I cut another piece of cardstock with the Blocked out Square Panel and then used this to stencil the Grass ink around the edges as well.   I used Parakeet ink to fade it out towards the center.   Then I splattered some green watercolor paint on the panel covering the center so that it remained clean.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Sentiment Essentials stamp set onto Midnight cardstock and then die cut it with the Sentiment Essentials Confetti Cuts.   Once my inked and splattered panel was dry I added it to a 4 1/2" square card panel made from white cardstock.   I attached all my Heart Spot images and the Happy Birthday sentiment with foam tape.   I added a black and white twine bow to finish it off.

I hope that you will play along with the new challenge at Reverse Confetti!   I love that you can create whatever you want, in line of course, with the theme for the month!   Come check it out and play and if you post your creations on social media, please be sure to use the hashtag: #SYSChallenge

Happy Crafting!!!!

Reverse Confetti - Mahalo

Happy Sunday!   We are in graduation mode and it leaves little time for crafting for me.   I made this quick card using the new Diamond Stripe Square Confetti Cuts along with Pattern Blocks and Mahalo stamp sets.

I realized over the past few weeks, I am completely out of thank you cards and need to make a few for the next few weeks.     I used a color combo from this Color Challenge - CAS Color & Sketches and I am loving this combo!    I used Reverse Confetti Lagoon, Parakeet and Bumblebee Inks.

The Pattern Block chevron was stamped in Parakeet ink onto the square die cut.   I layered up the Mahalo images and sentiment with lot's of foam tape on the top.     I added some white glitter to my coconut rim.

This makes for a super quick and easy card once I had the color combo set.   That is it for me today!   I hope you have an awesome week!   I will be trying to squeeze in some stamping time this week!

Mahalo!

I joined into several challenges with this card - see the links below if you would like to play along!

Reverse Confetti - Moon Men

Happy Mother's Day!   I hope you have enjoyed your day!    I was able to sneak some craft time in this weekend and made a birthday card with the new Moon Men from Reverse Confetti.   I played along with Freshly Made Sketches for this card.

I started out ink blending with Bumblebee, Magenta and Wine inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock.   I splattered the panel with Copic White for my stars.   I then trimmed the panel down with Kindness Cards Confetti Cuts and trimmed another piece of yellow cardstock.    I stamped my images onto Premier Polar White cardstock and colored with Chameleon colored pencils.    I die cut them out with the Moon Men Confetti Cuts.   I added a present from Christmas Bear and the balloons from Monkey Business.

I first placed the panel on a white card base but I felt like it was too flat, so I decided to stamp the white card base with Elemental Stripes in Stone ink.   It is very subtle but added just the right touch.   I left the bottom clear and stamped a sentiment from Hey Sugar with black ink and stamped over with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.

For a final touch, I added some clear sequins.    Here is the link to Freshly Made  Sketches if you would like to play along, the challenge closes on Monday.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Mother's Day to all the special mom's out there!
