The challenge this week at the Simon Says Wednesday Stamp challenge is to use something new.   Gold Foil!    I have never used foiling on my cards.   I bought some foiled card stock and have had it for months and never cracked it open.    I got a Minc machine for Christmas and have yet to foil anything.  For some reason it intimidated me!   However, I have gotten over the fear of the gold and now I think you will see me become a foiling fool!
I cut some hearts out with my My Favorite Things Staggered Heart border die and cut it from Gold Foil and Watercolor paper that had been made a while back in
this post.
The sentiment is from MFT Picture This white embossed, cut out with Fishtail Flag Stax and then sewed onto the card front for a really flat card front.    I loved how the Gold just pops off the card.
Stamps: MFT Picture This
Inks: Versamark, Various Pink/Red Distress Inks
Papers: MFT Red Hot, Smooth White, SU Basic Black, DCWV Foil Card 6x6 pad, Watercolor paper
Tools:  MFT Staggered Heart Border, Fishtail Flag Stax, Sewing Machine, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Blueprints 1
With some of the extra gold hearts cut out, I created another card.   I actually did a third card but did not get any photos of the card.   I will share it later.
This used the MFT Distressed Patterns stamp set (LOVE LOVE LOVE!)  This I predict will be a well used set that I will use a lot in the future.    I stamped in some pink inks and then placed two gold hearts on top.     The Love You sentiment is from SSS Love This stamp set.   The panel is a new MFT die, Mini Scalloped Rectangle Stax and placed on top of some Papertrey Ink Kraft base stamped with SSS Teeny Bikini ink with the Sketched Chevron Background Stamp.

Inks: SSS Teeny Bikini, Cotton Candy, MFT Hybrid Black Licorice
