I am up for this month's Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs. In this challenge you can use the inspiration photo or sketch. Or you can mix it up and use both! I went with the inspiration photo and of course needed to use the Gnome for Christmas. This may be my last Christmas card for the year! Hard to believe that Christmas is almost here!
I love this stamp set and stamped out all the images because I can't help myself. They are so much fun to color! I used my Copic markers and went with the traditional green and reds for my Christmas Gnome. I die cut the images out with the matching Gnome for Christmas SugarCut.
I decided to use the Snow Globe SugarCut for my little Gnome scene. I die cut the circle from white cardstock and with the inside of the globe ink blended with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. The red and green just pop off that blue sky! I die cut the base for the snow globe from red cardstock and then stamped my sentiment from Gnome for Christmas onto the sentiment strip from the Snow Globe SugarCut die set.
For my mail panel, I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Oh So Jolly Sentiments stamp set onto kraft cardstock and repeated it over and over. I used the holly leaves to stamp in the gaps. I then filled the panel with the stamped sentiment. I die cut it out with the largest die from the Postage Stamp SugarCut. I layered this onto a kraft cardbase.
Hello! I am back to share with you more inspiration with the December Club La-La Land Craft Monthly Kit! This kit is super adorable.
I made this slimline card using the new Knitted Panel die cut and die cut my main pain four times on this panel. I used the die cuts to line it up and the outside of the die does not cut so you can use this die in multiple ways! I love all the texture it gives the panel.
I die cut the Yarn Basket die three times from grey cardstock. I added die cuts from the Knit and Crochet die from various colors of cardstock and then added to my panel. I colored the cat with the large yarn ball from Knit Happens with my Copic markers to match the colored Knit and Crochet die cuts. For my sentiment is from Knitting Marci and was die cut with the Stitched Nested Circles die.
Next up, I made this card using Knitting Marci and I love her glittery shoes! I used the Get Inky paper pack for my color inspiration. I created a little scene with Marci sitting on the floor and the rug is the Knitted Panel die with the die cuts still in the cardstock. I edged it with a strip of white cardstock. The patterned paper from Get Inky is the wallpaper.
I colored Knitting Marci with my Copics. I did the shirt first and then used an old pair of jeans with Copic Blender solution and touched it lightly to the paper. This give the denim texture to the shirt. Then color your remaining image with Copics. The full list of Copic markers used is below. I added some Distress Stickles in Icicle to make them super glittery! I added a little more to the yarn she is knitting.
I wanted her to be sitting beside the Yarn Basket. I die cut the Yarn Basket die from pink cardstock and then added a large yarn ball from the Knit and Crochet die. The sentiment is from Knitting Marci and I trimmed it down and added to the card panel with foam tape.

I love making Christmas tags this time of year! I use them on all of my presents and give them away as well. I love looking for ways that I can take a stamp set and make it a holiday project or use them in a different way from what they originally were for! I found the perfect pair! Hey Honey stamp set and the Pocket Tag Christmas Characters SugarCut. If you want to see a post where I turned the Pocket Tag Christmas Characters into Halloween, check that out here!
I stamped out two bears with the Hey Honey stamp set onto kraft cardstock. I then die cut out the nose with the Hey Honey SugarCut. I added some details by adding some pink cheeks to each of the bears and then added the nose with liquid adhesive right on the stamped bear. No coloring required, so this made for a quick and easy process with the bears.
I then needed to decide on what characters to use from the Pocket Tag Christmas Characters SugarCut and went with Santa and a Reindeer -- ha! ha! Get it? Santa and his reindeer, Rudolph! I die cut the santa hat and trim, the scarf, the antlers, a red nose and the holly using the Pocket Tag Christmas Characters SugarCut.
The Santa Hat and Scarf were for the first bear. I added some details to the scarf with a large white Sharpie. His hat got a nice coat of clear sparkle. For the Reindeer, I added his antlers, the red nose for Rudolph and the holly & berries to the second bear. I added some red glitter to the berries and a little white dot to the red nose! I popped the red nose up for a little dimension! You could make so many more tags with the Pocket Tag Christmas Characters and Hey Honey - a snowman, elf, penguin!
So much fun!!
I layered each bear onto a tag that had been created with the Postage Stamp Cover Panel SugarCut and stamped with the Buffalo Check stamp set. I always die cut two tag bases - so each tag had a green and kraft colored Postage Stamp Sugar Cut using the smallest die. This make the tag looked finished on the backside. I added the sentiment from Everyday Sentiments and die cut it with the Sentiment Strips.
It's time for the Club La La Land December Monthly Kit reveal!
This month's kit is all about knitting! I created two cards today using this month's kit along with the Home for Christmas Paper Pack. Both my projects today are 5 1/2 squared cards.
I colored Knitting Marci and Knit Happens (cat) with my Copic Markers:
For my card panel, I die cut the Knitted Panel die from light blue cardstock and trimmed it down to a rectangle. I die cut the Yarn Basket from cream and mixed blues to add to the panel.
I layered Knitting Marci with a Pierced Scalloped Circle die and then added some of the die cuts from the Knit and Crochet die. I finished it off with a sentiment from Knitting Marci and die cut it using the Stitched Elements die.
I die cut the Knitted Panel die from white cardstock and left all the little bit's and pieces in by added some tape onto the back of the die cut. I layered a Pierced Scalloped Circle die cut onto the panel. I added the yarn ball and needles from the Knit and Crochet die. The sentiment is from Knit Happens and was die cut using the Scalloped Rectangles die.

Hey there! Welcome to the Reverse Confetti December Creative Blog Hop! Today, we have tons of inspiration to share with you! You should have hopped over to me from Ali Farmer! In case you have missed a step along the way, just scroll down to the bottom of my post and see the full hop list for you.
I combined some of my new and old favorite stamp sets to create this little Christmas scene:
I inked the edges of my card panel with Iced Aqua ink with a ink blending tool. I then stamped the sentiment from The Best Gift of All with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I popped up all my images with foam tape.
Next up on the hop is Lisa Henke! Have fun hopping along with our 'Fetti Friends and Confetti Crew! I hope you have a wonderful holiday!!!!
I had so much fun creating this birthday card! The new Polka Dot Pals Tobias stamp set has this cute birthday explosion stamp and I did some stamp masking to have it exploding around Tobias!
I stamped the PDP Tobias image onto my main panel that had been die cut with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle die set. I them stamped him again onto some Post It note tape and trimmed it out for a mask.
I then stamped the explosion in either side and lifted the mask up after stamping! It is always so cool to see the full reveal! I then colored in all the images with my Copic markers.
For the sentiment, I used the new Simple Sentiment Strips to create my birthday greeting. I stamped two of the sentiments and white heat embossed them and trimmed them down. To finish it off, I added some Nuvo drops and Crystal Glaze to some of the balloons!
Hey there! It's December 1st and Whimsy Stamps has a mini release today! I used the new Snow Angels stamp set to create these two adorable cards.
I die cut a two circles with the Pierced and Stitched Circles and then stamped the images onto the circles and colored with my Copic markers. I added some Distress Stickles and clear sparkle pen to each of the circles.
For the backgrounds, I used two of the snowflake stamps and stamped a panel of hot pink and aqua cardstock with the similar inks and die cut them out with the Quilted Rainbow die.
I then white heat embossed the sentiments from Snow Angels onto the panels once they were dry. I added both panels to a kraft card base. I popped up the circles with foam tape.
Check out what the design team has to share below with the new mini release. You can check out the December release here!
