Reverse Confetti - S'more Love

I hope that you have had a wonderful holiday season!    I have been on vacation this week from work and after all the holiday celebrations, I was able to sneak some crafty time in and got to use a new stamp set for me from Reverse Confetti called S'more Love.   It has been on my wish list for a while and I just love it.   I love the adorable penguins.    I decided to watercolor since I had not done it in a while and I was a little rusty.    It is so easy to reach for my Copics, I don't have to think about them and guess that is why I reach for them so often.   So today, I used my Zig Markers, which are really easy to use.  For Christmas, I got the Mission Gold Watercolors and have only used them so far to create a color chart. I have a few days left of vacation and plan to get some practice time in for them I hope!

I stamped and clear embossed the images from S'more Love onto watercolor cardstock and then painted them with my Zig Clean Color markers.   I stamped out all the images in the set and then used the S'more Love Confetti Cuts to die cut them out once they were all dry.

I ink blended the background with Lagoon and Iced Aqua Reverse Confetti dye ink onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock.    I used Bumblebee ink in the center to provide a glow for the fire pit.    I then splattered it with some Copic Opaque white that I watered down and used a very fine paint brush to flick on the snow.     I was going to add the snowflakes to the background but decided just to do them on the tag.    The tag is from the Goodie Box Additions from Reverse Confetti.   I stamped two of the snowflake images and then colored them with my Zig markers and added them to the card with some Hemp twine.

The penguin on the left is warming his heart by the fire, I got that idea from a sentiment in the set.   I added some clear Pico Embellisher to the heart.  The grassy border or snow border in this case was made using the Nuts about You Confetti Cuts and cut from watercolor cardstock so that it matched the stamped images.

I love the bright and cheery background.   I just love the Reverse Confetti inks they blend so nicely and the colors are so bright and bold!  Lagoon is becoming one of my favorites.  I added some final details with a white Signo Gel pen.

I played along with a few challenges for this card:    Just Add Ink Choose Two - I choose the twine and tag.   Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog  - Anything Goes and PINspirational challenge - inspired by the wintery and snowy image and finally the Creatalicious Challenge - Anything Goes Challenge - with options wishes - my card is sharing warm wishes!   We all need it in this cold weather!    I have linked all challenges above if you would like to join in!

I hope that you have a wonderful and Happy New Year!   Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving comments.   I read each one and thank you very much for all the kind and wonderful comments!    Stay tuned as Reverse Confetti has a release coming with sneak peaks starting January 5th!  I can't wait to share my projects with you!

Happy New Year and Warm Wishes to you all!

Reverse Confetti - Cool Friend

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!   I am all ready for Christmas!  Decorations done, presents wrapped and cookies baked!    I am ready to relax and enjoy the time with my family.    On to my card, I decided to make a winter thank you card to send and used some unusual colors that were outside of my norm.   I used Reverse Confetti Magenta and Piggy Bank ink for a red/pink snowy sky!    I ink blended the inks onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock.   I love Reverse Confetti inks, the colors are so bright and they blend so easy!

I stamped a snowman from the Cool Friends stamp set and colored it in with my Copic markers and then die cut him out with the Cool Friends Confetti Cuts.    I then die cut several snowflakes from the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cut and thought I had grabbed some of the white cardstock to make my snowbank but realized when I took the photos today that the snowbank wasn't so white!   I accidentally grabbed the Bristol cardstock instead, which isn't as white.   Oops!  I used the grassy border die from the Nuts About You Confetti Cuts.

I stamped a sentiment from Simply Sentiments with some Versafine Onyx Black ink and added it to the inked panel with some foam tape.   I added some Crystal Sequins from Darice to add some sparkle and used my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to the hat and the scarf.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas holiday!     Thanks for stopping  by!

I am adding this card to the Simon Says Wednesday Stamp Party Time Challenge!  My little snowman is celebrating a special someone!

and the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge  Tic Tac Toe Challenge - I chose the Stamping, Die Cut and Red for my Tic Tac Toe  - Magenta is a version of red right? 😏

Reverse Confetti December SFYTT

There is a new Sketch Challenge at Reverse Confetti!   I decided to take a break from the Christmas cards and tags to make a fun birthday card.    I used the new Cheerful & Kind paper pad along with the Unicorn Wishes stamp set for a bright and happy card!

I trimmed down several of the papers from the Cheerful & Kind paper pad based upon the sketch and glued them on top of an A2 Cloud White card base.    I then used the Fa La La Circle Confetti Cut and used some glitter paper from my stash.    I also cut a circle from the Premier Polar White cardstock to layer my stamped images upon.

I stamped and colored my images with my Copic markers.  I added some glitter detail with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.    I then used the banner from Flowers for Mom Confetti Cut and die cut from Rose cardstock and stamped the sentiment from Unicorn Wishes and white heat embossed it.

I hope that you get a chance to play along with this month's sketch and be sure to link up for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti Store!    All the details can be found on the SFYTT link on the Reverse Confetti blog!

Thank you for stopping by!

Reverse Confetti - Sno Awesome

Hey there!   Hope you had a great weekend!   I made a quick card today with the Reverse Confetti Sno Awesome stamp set.    I LOVE snowmen and thought it would be cute to turn the sno-cones into snowmen!

I stamped my images in Versafine Onyx Black ink and then clear heat embossed them and colored with my Zig markers.

I then drew snowman faces on the cones with my Copic Markers.   I used the Sno Awesome Confetti Cuts and die cut them out.

I used a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for the card design.

I then watercolored with Mermaid Lagoon ink onto some water color cardstock and added a sentiment onto Midnight cardstock that was white heat embossed from Sentimental Christmas and used my sewing machine to add a stitching detail to the banner.   The panel was placed on an A2 card base from Iced Aqua cardstock.
