Color Throwdown Challenge - Guest Star Stamper

I am so excited to be a Guest Star Stamper today on the Color Throwdown Challenge.    This week's challenge is Rust, Green, Orange and Aqua.  The photo was really inspiring to me with these colors and really gave you the feel of Fall, perfect for making a Fall Thank You card.  I decided to use a new to me stamp set from Reverse Confetti called Pumpkin Patch.  It has these pumpkin images with sentiments on the pumpkin in several beautiful fonts.

I started off by stamping the pumpkin image in Tangerine Ink by Reverse Confetti and them stamped the leaves in a Lime Green and the stamped and vines in a brown ink.    I used some of the Rust patterned paper from the new Every Little Bit 6x6 pad from Reverse Confetti and die cut some Rust cardstock with the Wheat Confetti Cut and added a Wreath cut from Mist cardstock and left all the bits and pieces in to create a base for my focal image.    I layered it all on top of some Kraft cardstock and inked the edges of the Kraft cardstock and the Rust patterned paper with some Stone ink.   I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the pumpkin leaves for a little bit of sparkle.

Case this Sketch - Reverse Confetti Nuts About You

I decided to play along this week with the Case This Sketch challenge.   I used the new Reverse Confetti Nuts About You stamp set and the sketch to make a fall card.   I stamped my images on Kraft cardstock and colored with my Copic markers.    I cut them out with the matching Confetti Cuts.   I also stamped a trimmed out piece of Stone cardstock and stamped with two of the smaller images from the stamp set in Stone ink.

I then trimmed down several of the patterned papers from the new 6x6 paper pad, Every Little Bit, and started building my card based upon this weeks sketch.   I trimmed a piece of Dark Roast cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment from Nuts About You in Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

To finish it off, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the leaves.

Reverse Confetti - September Sketch For You To Try

Hello Fetti' Friends!   It's my turn to share with you my take on the September Sketch For You To Try.    I am using some fun new September release products for my Halloween card that I am sharing with you today.    I absolutely love the new Monsterous Stamp set!

I started off using the Fa La La Confetti Cut for the scalloped circle and ink blended with Distress inks and also trimmed a piece of Midnight cardstock with the same scalloped circle and then die cut again with the Nuts About You grassy border die.

I stamped the monster and pumpkin from Monsterous along with the bat and spider from Too Cute To Spook with Versafine ink and then clear heat embossed the images and colored them with my Distress inks and Zig markers.   The sentiment was white heat embossed onto the black grassy border.

The patterned paper is from the new Every Little Bit 6x6 paper pad from the September release.   There are some gorgeous patterns in this pack and you will reach for it over and over!    The moon is made from using the circle die from the Lacy Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts that I used some Distress ink on and then covered with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen.

This is such a great sketch!  Check out the Reverse Confetti Blog for what the other Confetti crew have to share with you on this month's sketch and check out your chance to win a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!

Color Throwdown Challenge - Reverse Confetti Haunt It & Best Witches

Happy Thursday!  One more day till the weekend! Woot! Woot!  I am still on my Fall and Halloween kick.   This week especially it has felt like fall because we have had cooler temperatures.  Only a couple weeks away from October - can you believe it!     I made a non traditional (if that is such a thing) Halloween card using the colors from this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge!     The challenge is Navy, Green and White.   I was not sure how this would turn out but decided to give it a shot!

I started out cutting some Navy and Avocado cardstock with the Wonky Stripe Panel and stamped with the stars from the Best Witches stamp set and white heat embossed the stars.    I stamped and colored the Mummy and Bat from Best Witches and colored with my Copic Markers.   I die cut the moon from white cardstock and the Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts and covered with clear glitter.

The sentiment is from the new Haunt It stamp and die cut with the new Tag Duo Confetti cuts onto Midnight cardstock.   Everything was layered up onto a A2 sized Stone card base.   It turned out pretty cute for a non traditional Halloween card!

Addicted to Stamps Challenge - Holiday - Fab-BOO-lous

I am back today playing with the Addicted to Stamps Challenge again this time the theme is Holiday which was perfect for me as I am in the Halloween creating mood!    I used my new My Favorite Things stamp set from Birdie Brown called Fab-Boo-lous!    It is just adorable.    I stamped my images and colored with Copic markers.  I also stamped and colored another MFT Stamp called Grave Situation.    It added just the perfect touch for my spooky scene.

To make the scene for my little ghouls, I used Distress Ink Oxide in three colors: Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron and inked a full panel.   I then die cut the MFT Solid Birch trees and Grassy Fields border die in Black Licorice cardstock.

For my greeting, I used the Stitched Oval Word Window die and cut a window for my sentiment from the Fab-BOO-lous stamp set.   I trimmed the panel with Blueprints 1 large frame and then layered it onto a Black Licorice A2 card base.

I loved how it turned out!    I added some Clear Pico Embellisher to the sucker and some sparkle with my Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen.
