Reverse Confetti - Mod Floral Stack & Nuts about You

Hello!    I am joining in the Color Throwdown Challenge and Addicted to CAS today and sharing a card I made with the Reverse Confetti Mod Floral Stack stamp set and Confetti Cuts - this time using the stamp set to create mushrooms for my little scene!

I started off with the Stitched Square Confetti Cuts and trimmed some white card stock down and then added it to a 4 1/4 card base.   I stamped the smallest floral with Salsa ink onto Premier Polar White card stock along with the porcupine from Nuts About You.   I colored the porcupine with my Copic markers.

I trimmed down some green patterned paper from the Cheerful & Kind paper pad with the Stitched Squares and the grassy border die in the Nuts About You Confetti Cuts set.    For my "mushrooms", I added some stems using the tree trunk from the Honey Bear stamp set with Stone ink.

Here is a close up of the mushrooms!

I stamped a sentiment from the Mod Floral Stack stamp set with Midnight ink onto some Stone cardstock strip.    I covered my clouds from Honey Bear with some crystal glitter.    Here is a link for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge.    Here is the link for the Addicted to CAS - Summertime.

Reverse Confetti - Stock Your Stash Challenge - Baby Cards

Happy Thursday!   We are so close to the weekend!  YEAH!    I am sharing a card that I created for the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge!    This month's theme is Baby.   I decided to mix my baby colors and used both Pink and Blue for my card.

I used the new Pattern Builder Stamp set and inked it tone on tone with Reverse Confetti Mist ink onto Mist cardstock.  I added some pattern paper from Forever My Love paper pad to a card panel and then added my Mist stamped panel to the card base.  I then stamped my little Koala bear from the Bear Hugs stamp set onto Premier Polar White cardstock and colored with my Copic Markers.

I  trimmed it down with the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts.    I also trimmed down some Rose cardstock with the Scalloped Squares and trimmed down several more with the white cardstock to create a dimensional frame.   My sentiment comes from an oldie but goodie called Bitty Banners.   I used the Bitty Banner Confetti Cut to trim it out.

My Favorite Things - Sweet Succulents and Saddle Up & Celebrate

I am on a roll using some of my new but not used stash!   Today I am sharing a card that I made with two stamps sets from my new stash box!   One I am sad to say I have had for a really long time and the other was one that I just got! :-)   I am playing along with Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Use a Die or a Punch.

I ink blended a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock with Abandoned Coral and Wild Honey Distress Inks and then splattered the panel.   I ink blended another panel of Bristol Smooth and this time used Gathered Twigs and Vintage Photo and splattered it as well.   I trimmed this brown panel down with the MFT Scenic Safari border dies (looks like it is retired!).

I stamped my images from Sweet Succulents, Saddle Up & Celebrate and Beary Big Adventure with Black Licorice Hybrid ink onto Neenah cardstock.    I colored the images with Copic markers.    For the sentiment I used the Stitched Oval Word Windows and stamped my sentiment onto the card base that was made out of heavy weight Smooth White cardstock.    I added some orange and pink jewels from Little Things from Lucy.

I layered up my desert with some foam tape onto the panel onto the Abandoned Coral and Wild Honey panel.    I then add my images, popping some up with foam tape.     This card is off to special friend in Texas!  Hey Julie!!!

That is it for me!   Also, check out my Instagram account, right now, I have a Giveaway for a Reverse Confetti Mod Floral Stack stamp set!   The Giveaway will close on Saturday, July 28th at 11 pm EST.

I hope you have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Reverse Confetti - Greatest Adventure & Mod Floral Stack

Happy day to you!  I hope you are having a wonderful day.    I am sharing a card I made for the Color Throwdown Challenge this week.    The colors for the challenge are cobalt blue, aqua and grey.   You can also add any neutrals to the card as well.  I decided to make a sparkling ocean for the two little guys from Greatest Adventure stamp with the with Mod Floral Stack.

I really love the Mod Floral Stack stamp set.  You can do so many things with this set.   Take a peek at the Reverse Confetti Pinterest board for this stamp set and you will see what I mean.   Also, if you follow me on Instagram, then hop on over as I will be giving away the Mod Floral Stack stamp set that I picked up from my local stamp store, Impressive Ideas!!

I used several Reverse Confetti inks for my card; Island Blue, Iced Aqua and Stone ink.   I used my MISTI stamping tool to stamp out the pattern but instead of moving my card around I would position my stamp on an empty stamp pocket and used my grid transparency to make sure that they stayed lined up on the card panel.     The sentiment is from the new stamp set, The Most Beauty.   I stamped it in Versafine Onyx Black and then clear heat embossed it.   I trimmed the panel down to 3 3/4 by 5 and popped it up on a Stone card base.

I stamped my two little critters from Greatest Adventure onto Premier Polar White card stock and colored with my Copic markers.   I made sure to stay with neutral colors and added just a pinch of blue to tie to the card panel.    I die cut them out with the Greatest Adventure Confetti Cuts.   I added a little bit of sparkle with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.    For a final touch, I added some clear crystal droplets.

Guess what?   Reverse Confetti is having a huge Summer Sale!   You can check the store out here and start shopping for all those items on your wish list!   Everything in the store is 20% off when you order $50 or more!

My Favorite Things - Gill Friends

Hello!   I am working thru my stash of new but never used stamps and making a point of using them each week.   Here is a card that I made with the MFT Stamps Gill Friends stamp set.

I wanted to create a really dark blue sea scene and started with a die cut circle and then used several distress inks to create an ombre background.   I also used the sun ray stencil and created some rays coming thru but in the pictures it lost some of the brightness that it added.   You can see it faintly.

For the card base, I used MFT Nightshift Navy cardstock and then stamped with the Watercolor Stripes background stamp in Navy ink.    I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers.    I add some detail, I added some clear sparkle with my Spectrum Noir Clear glitter pens and added some Studio Katia clear droplets for bubbles.

Thanks for stopping by!    I hope you have a wonderful day!

Reverse Confetti - Leaping Lions

Hello!   I am sharing a card that I made for the Color Throwdown Challenge.   Here is a link for the color challenge; this week the colors are yellow, grey, kraft and white.

I colored my images from Leaping Lions with my Copic markers and used Premier Polar White cardstock.    My little lions added the Kraft for the challenge.  For some finishing touches on the images I used some clear sparkle on the drum, Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the noses and white gel pen on the banner.

I popped my images up on the new Striped Circle Cover panel.  I added some yellow pattern paper from the Pattern Play paper pad. My sentiment was stamped onto some Stormy card stock that had been die cut with the Stitched Flag Trio.

MFT Card Challenges - Jungle Gym

I am popping in to share a card that I created for this week's MFT's Sketch Challenge.    I absolutely adore the Jungle Gym set!    I love the little tiger and monkey swinging around!   So adorable!

I started with the background that was ink smooshed with Distress Inks.   I colored the cute little images with my Copic markers.   I just couldn't cover up the cute little tiger with my sentiment so I put it to the side.   The sentiment is from More Essential Sentiments.

I added some cute little jewels that I just picked up from Little Things from Lucy's Cards - it is a Jewel Rainbow Sparkle mix and there are so many different colors.   I will definitely need to get another pack of those.

I used the Stitched Scalloped Basic Edge and the Basic Edge Dienamics to trim the panel like the sketch.

Here is a link to the sketch if you want to play along!

Sugar Pea Designs - Indian Summer

Hey there!   I am playing along with the Sugar Pea Designs Mix it Up Challenge No. 45 and used the sketch for my card today.   I have been having fun lately making shaker cards, so I used the sketch along with the Indian Summer stamp set and Arrow Cover Plate.

I started off ink blending a background with some Distress Inks in Fossilized Amber, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Broken China onto some Bristol card stock.   I then die cut the Arrow Cover plate with some white card stock.  I did not realize that it had also some embossing lines on it!   What a happy surprise!   You cannot really see it in the photos but it is really cute in real life!

I stamped the Raccoon with the canoe onto Neenah card stock and colored with my Copic markers.   I stamped a sentiment onto some black cardstock and then die cut it with a flag banner.   I used Darice Adhesive Foam Strips that are double sided and perfect for shakers, they are thin and I only needed one layer for the card.

Thank you for stopping by!
