SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 3

Welcome to day three of the SugarPea Designs Summer Release!  I created a slimline tunnel card using the new Salty Seagulls and Sunburst Stencil!

I stenciled with the Sunburst Stencil onto the blue cardstock with darker blue ink.  I trimmed out the center with the Bamboo Garden SugarCut circle.   I used light aqua cardstock on the inside of the tunnel and stenciled with the Wave Stencil.

I stamped out all the seagulls with the new Salty Seagulls stamp set and then layered them behind the top layer using acetate to layer a few in the center.

I love that they are stealing french fries!  Yum!   This set is super cute with some great sentiments.  I finished it off with a sentiment stamped onto a Scallop Rectangle SugarCut.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 2

Welcome to day two of the SugarPea Designs Summer Release!  Today we are sharing Life Is A Picnic SugarCut, Sunshine Sentiments and Sunshine Word SugarCut.

I was actually vintage shopping the day that I made this card and had been looking for old picnic baskets.  Do you remember the old olive green and yellow picnic baskets?   I have been looking for one and thought I would recreate it with my card project today.

I love the details in the Life Is A Picnic SugarCut and added the apple, bread and watermelon.   I added two brads for the handles.  I layered the picnic basket onto a circle die cut from the Bamboo Garden SugarCut.   I added another layer of light yellow cardstock.

The sentiment is from the new Sunshine Sentiments stamp set and are perfectly sized to fit on the Sentiment Strips SugarCut.  There are so many different types of options to use to create sentiments along with the new Sunshine Word SugarCut.   I layered this onto a pink Buffalo Check background stamp and die cut with the Postage Stamp SugarCut.

Whimsy Stamps - Happy Birthday

Hello!  I love the new Cutie ABC and Cutie Numbers die sets from Whimsy Stamps!   The font is so fantastic!   I created this birthday card using the new Scallop Six A2 die.

I started by stamping the background with the Criss Cross Gingham background stamped and then die cut with the Scallop Six A2 die from the stamped background, another piece of aqua cardstock and white cardstock.  Then I pieced them together.  I have enough leftovers to make two more cards!

I stamped the images from Penguin Poop and colored really quickly with my Copic markers.   I love these penguins and their cute faces!  The sentiments are from the Simple Sentiments and were die cut with the Simple Strips die cut.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 1

Welcome to day one of the Sweet Peek Week with the SugarPea Designs 2021 Summer Release!  Today we are sharing Captain of my Heart, Treasure Map Stencil and Ahoy Words.

I stamped my images from Captain Of My Heart and colored with my Copic markers.   I die cut the images with the matching Captain Of My Heart SugarCuts.   I stamped a sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock and trimmed it down.

I used Kraft cardstock and used the new Treasure Map Stencil and ink blended with several different inks.  I masked off the parts of the stencil as I was inking.  There are so many accent images to use!   I then trimmed the Treasure Map and roughed up the edges and added more ink.

I die cut the word Ahoy using the new Ahoy Words SugarCut from red and white cardstock.   I layered my images onto a red die cut Chevron Cover Plate SugarCut.  I added some final details with a white gel pen.

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge June

Hey there! It's time for another Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs!   I used this month's photo inspiration and the sketch as inspiration for my card today.

I used the Lets Stay In Bed stamp set.   I stamped the images out and colored with my Copic markers.  I die cut the images using the Lets Stay In Bed SugarCuts.

For the panel, I used the Card Front Element Builder to die cut a 4 1/4 b 5 1/2 inches panel with the stitched rectangle die from the set.  I then used the Gradient Stripes Stencil to ink blend with grey ink.   I trimmed about an inch and half off the top of the panel and stamped a sentiment from Lets Stay In Bed stamp set.

Come play along in the challenge!   The full rules are below but you can also see this month's challenge and information on the SugarPea Designs blog post!  Thank you for stopping by!
