SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Release Day!

Today is the last day of the Sweet Peek Week of the Spring Product Release for SugarPea Designs.   Today I am sharing three new items: Botanical Branches, Enjoy Word die and Skinny Stripes stencil!   I created a rainbow panel by ink blending and then added the Skinny Stripes stencil on top and went over the panel again.   I then die cut the panel with the Stitched Rectangles SugarCut.

I then die cut one of the branches from the new Botanical Branches SugarCut.   I adhered them to the panel with some liquid adhesive.   I die cut the Enjoy Word die from black and white cardstock and added to the panel with foam tape.

The sentiment is from the new Birthday Wishes stamp set.  I stamped it and then white heat embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock.   I finished off my panel with some sparkly crystal jewels!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 4

Hey there!  Welcome back to the Sweet Peek Week for SugarPea Designs.   Today we are sharing Hey Spring, Spring Scene Builder and Picket Fence die.   I love these cute bear images!

I built the scene with the new Spring Scene Builder SugarCut along with the Picket Fence die!  So easy to create your scene cards! For the back panel, I used the Outdoor Scene Builder stencil with light blue ink.  I stamped my sentiment directly onto the panel!

I stamped my images from Hey Spring and then colored with my Copic markers.  I then die cut them with the Hey Spring SugarCut.  I layered them onto the panel with foam tape.

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 3

Welcome back to day three of the Spring Product Release from SugarPea Designs.  I created this square card using the new Take Us To Your Cake stamp set and SugarCut!

I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and then colored with my Copic markers.  I then die cut the images out with the Take Us To Your Cake SugarCut.

I ink blended blue, green and yellow inks onto a 4 1/4 inch square panel and then splattered the panel with white paint.  I stamped the spaceship lines onto the panel to appear that it is pulling the stamped image into the spaceship!  I then covered the glass domes with crystal glaze.  I stamped a sentiment onto black cardstock and white heat embossed it.

That is it for me today!  Be sure to check out the SugarPea Designs blog post for more information on the Giveaway and products today!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 2

Welcome back to day two of the Spring Product Release with SugarPea Designs!  Today we are sharing the new Birthday Wishes stamp set along with the new Happy Birthday Script SugarCut.

I decided to make a slimline card design to show off the Happy Birthday Script SugarCut with the new Birthday Wishes stamp set. Did you notice that I used the Stitched Scalloped Rectangles die to create my panel using the partial die cutting method!  I created this card for someone turning 6! I don't know about you but for birthday cakes and candles, you always got an extra candle to grow on - so if you were turning 6 - you got 7 candles, and so on......

So for this special 6 year old, she is getting a card with 7 candles!  I thought it would be so cute to pair this with one of my favorites - Chunky Monkey stamp set.    Of course, I had to go with a rainbow of colors!   I stamped each of the candle images out from Birthday Wishes and die cut with the SugarCut Birthday Candles.  The process when super fast, as I kept all the dies together and cut three out at a time, then lined up in my Misit to get the perfect stamped image.

And take a look at that Happy Birthday Script SugarCut!   I die cut the image 4 times and stacked them together.   Can I tell you that this die is fabulous!  I love all the loops and curves!  It is just a beautiful script and large enough to be the focal point on your card!   (For the monkey with the ballon, I covered the balloon with Diamond Stickles and then added some clear Crystal Glaze over the top.)

That is it for me today!  Be sure to check out the SugarPea Designs blog post for more information on the Giveaway and products today!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 1

Hey there!  Welcome to Sweet Peek Week for the SugarPea Designs Spring Release!  Today we are sharing Color of Life and Splash of Color stamp sets and Paint Palette die.   I have two projects to share with you today!

First up, I created this bright and colorful rainbow card with the new Color of Life stamp set and Paint Palette die!   I started by using the Torn Strips Stencil and using a rainbow of inks, I ink blended over the stencil.   I then matched up the cardstock to my inks and die cut the paint tubes from the Paint Palette die.

I stamped the sentiment from Color of Life onto a die cut circle from the Card Front Element Builder II SugarCut.  I then adhered all my paint tubes with foam tape and adhered the paint brush directly to the panel.  The main inked panel has been die cut with the Card Front Element Builder SugarCut.

With the Spring Product Release we have a wonderful blog hop to share tons of inspiration with you!  Be sure to leave comments along the way!  There is a giveaway on the SugarPea Designs blog, be sure to check out the Spring Product release posts on the SugarPea Designs blog!

Next up, I used the new Splash of Color stamp set to create my main panel and added the Cool Treats stamp set.   I stamped my inks to mimic splashing around in the water!  I stamped the penguin onto Neenah and colored with my Copic markers.  I then die cut with the matching Cool Treats SugarCut.

My sentiment comes from Cool Treats and was white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock.  I die cut my main panel using the Card Front Element Builder III.  I added some crystal jewels for a little sparkle.

Whimsy Stamps Build-A-Castle

Hey there!! I am popping in to share another card made with the new release from Whimsy Stamps!   The new Build-a-castle die set is so much fun!

I die cut the pieces of the castle from pink, grey, white and yellow cardstock and then pieced them together with liquid adhesive and some clear tape.  I sponged the edges to give it a vintage vibe and then layered onto my card panel that had been stamped with the Chevron Background stamp set.  I die cut the panel with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle die.

I stamped an image from Crittercorns stamp set.   I then colored with my Copic markers and then trimmed them out with my Scan and Cut.  I also inked the edges of the images.   This takes me back to when I first started stamping!  I always inked the edges with a light brown ink.  It makes die cuts and images look vintage/shabby!

I finished the card off with some clear glaze and some colored crystals.   I stamped the sentiment from the new Best Best stamp set and die cut it out with the Quick Strips die.

Check out what fabulous creations that the design team made with this months release!

Whimsy Stamps - Slimline Dog Bone

There is a new release today with Whimsy Stamps and I am sharing with you two new products: Slimline Dog Bone die and the Best Best stamp set!  How cute is this new Slimline Dog Bone die!   I decided to make a shaped card with this new die!

I die cut the Slimline Dog Bone die set from white cardstock.  I stamped the dog bone  with the Super Dogs stamp and repeated the images to create my own patterned paper.   I then colored the images with my Copic markers.   I added a few of the sentiments around the panel with colored ink.

To make the card more sturdy, I die cut two more panel from white cardstock and then from aqua cardstock.  I then punched a hole into the end of the bone and tied a ribbon through the panels to hold them together.  For my sentiment, I used the new Best Best stamp set.  This set allows you to create your own sentiments and I used Best Friend, perfect for the dog lovers out there!
