Whimsy Stamps - XOXO

Hello!  I am popping in to share a Valentine's card using Whimsy Stamps Monster Moods stamp set along with the FaDoodle Hearts stamp set.   I started by ink blending a slimline panel with pink, orange and yellow inks.  I then die cut the panel with the Slimline Card Builder die.  I then stamped several of the heart images with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I die cut a second panel with the Revealers 2 Die set.  I stamped the images from Monster Moods stamp set.  I colored my images with Copic markers.  I die cut the images out with the matching Monster Moods die set.   The sentiment is from the FaDoodles Heart stamps set.  I stamped and embossed these with white embossing powder on black cardstock.   I am playing along with this week's Inspired By Challenge with the inspiration photo and card sketch!   Check out more about the weekly challenge here!

I then splattered the inked panel with white and black paint.  Once I assembled the card, I added some crystal jewels to finish it off!

Inspired By Challenge - Mittens

Hello!  I am sharing a card that I created for the Inspired By Challenge - IB271.   You can join this weekly challenge by using the weekly inspiration photo or sketch!  I looked through my stamping supplies because I knew I had an older mitten set that was perfect and I found it!  As I was going through my older stamp and dies, I realized that my craft room is a little like my closet.  I have some really comfortable items that are old and familiar and some that were a passing fad.

I decided to pull out some other things that I had not used in quite a while....patterned paper, my sewing machine and off white cardstock!  I combined it with a newer product from The Greetery called Embroidered Blooms die.   The other products are older and likely not available anymore but they came in handy for this challenge!

Mittens and sentiment are from MFT Cozy Mittens stamp and coordinating die
Background stamp is La-La Land Crafts Sweater Weather
Basic Grey paper pad - Persimmon
My small sewing machine that I use for papercrafts or cards only
and finally,
Embroidered Blooms Die from The Greetry

I hope that you find some time to play along with the Inspired By Challenge!   You can check out the challenge here!

Whimsy Stamps - Gnome One Like You

Hello!  I am sharing a card designed with Whimsy Stamps products!   Now that the holidays are over, I am full on into Valentines Day cards!  I love creating cards for the various holidays.   I made this slimline card today using:

Gnome One Like You stamp set

Connected Hearts Frame die

Slimline Hearts Background die

Simple Sentiment Strips stamp

Simple Sentiment Strips die set

I ink blended with several pink and red dye inks onto a panel.  I die cut a separate panel with the Slimline Hearts Background die.   I then mounted this onto a card base.  I die cut aqua and white cardstock with the Connected Heart Frames die.   I layered the white interior of the heart frame with the aqua frame and adhered directly to the card panel.

For my card design, I used the Inspired By Challenge sketch for the foundation of my card. You can find out more about the challenge here!   You can use the photo or the sketch for your inspiration.

I stamped the Gnome from Gnome One Like You stamp set and colored with my Copic markers.  I trimmed the image with my Scan and Cut.   I added details to the image with a white gel pen and clear sparkle pen.
