SugarPea Designs - Monster Mash

Are you ready for Halloween?   It's Tricia here today, I cannot help it but when I it starts to get the end of summer, I am so ready to start working on fall decorating and crafts.

I could not wait to ink up this new set to me, Monster Mash.   It is absolutely adorable and has the cutest images.    I stamped and colored all the images in the stamp set with my Copic markers.   I die cut them out with the matching Monster Mash SugarCuts.  I ended up on using four out of the five images on my card, I tried to fit them all! :-)

To make the background, I ink blended with some Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserves.    For my moon, I die cut a Zig Zag Stitched Circle and then ink blended with Fossilized Amber and Mustard Seed.    To add to the night scene, I die cut the Log Cabin Mountainscape in black card stock.   To ground my images, I used the Card Front Element Builder border die and ink blended with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide inks.

I added some details with a white gel pen.  To finish off my card, I stamped a sentiment in Versamark ink and white heat embossed it.   I added some purple jewels to add a little sparkle to the card.  I hope that I have inspired you to start getting ready for the Fall and Halloween season!

SugarPea Designs - Mix It Up Challenge - Meadow Motifs

There is a new Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs for the month of August.    I used the photo, the color combinations and the sketch to create my card today!    I started off with Steel Grey card stock and then ink blended with the Wave Stencil and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink.

I was inspired by the texture in the inspiration photo and thought the Wave stencil would provide the perfect touch.  I then die cut the panel with the largest die from the Card Front Element Builder II.

I then stamped my images from the Meadow Motifs stamp set and colored with my Copic markers.  The colors were inspired from the photo.   I just love the Fall colors!  I die cut the images out with the Meadow Motifs SugarCut.  I layered the Meadow Motifs images around the tag from the Card Front Element Builder II that was die cut in white card stock and popped them up with some foam tape.

I stamped two sentiments from Everyday Sentiments onto Tangy Orange card stock and white heat embossed them.   I die cut them out with the Everyday Sentiment Strips.    To finish the card, I added some black jewel crystals.    I hope that you will be inspired by this month's Mix It Up Challenge and play along!

Thank you for joining me today!

Reverse Confetti - Ice Cream Social

Hey 'Fetti Fan's!    We are definitely into the dog days of summer in Atlanta!   It has been HOT!  So much so that I am starting to long for Fall and cooler weather.   I really hate to rush the end of summer but when it is so hot and humid at 7 am in the morning, I am really ready for Fall.

I played along with the Fusion Card Challenge this weekend and created a COOL card using Reverse Confetti's Ice Cream Social stamp set and the new 6x6 patterned paper pad, Sun & Sea.   I used the sketch to create my card today.   I started by stamping the images from Ice Cream Social onto Premier Polar White card stock and then colored with my Copic markers.    I then die cut the images out with the Ice Cream Social Confetti Cuts.

I used the largest die from the Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts and die cut it from white card stock.   The largest die is 4 inches across, so I created my card base at 4 x 5 1/2 inches so that the Pierced Round Panel was exactly the same size.   I trimmed some of the panel down and layered it on top of some patterned paper from Sun & Sea paper pad.    I die cut the clouds from white card stock using the Over the Rainbow Confetti Cuts.   I stamped a sentiment from Ice Cream Social onto some peach card stock and white heat embossed it.

To finish the card, I added some crystal glaze to some of the images.   That is it for me today!    I hope you have a wonderful week!     Here is a link to the Fusion Card Challenge - Family.

Reverse Confetti - August Blog Hop - Greatest Adventure

Hey there!  Welcome to the Reverse Confetti August Blog Hop!   You should have arrived from the adorable Amy Kolling's blog.    Today, we are sharing some creative projects that are anything but a card!    I created two tags for some S'more trail mix.      I used Greatest Adventure stamp set, which was perfect for the S'more mix in mason jars.

For my first tag, I used the Hex Tag and created a mini campfire scene.    The images from Greatest Adventure was stamped onto Premier Polar White card stock and colored with my Copic markers.   I then die cut Mist card stock using the Hex Tag as well as some corrugated paper.    I added a mini tag from the Clear Treat Box and Wrap Combo.   I tied it around the mason jar and added a raffia bow.

For my next tag, I used the Grid Stitched Tag and die cut it from Mist and Navy card stock.   I trimmed the edge of the Navy piece with the Edge Essentials.  I added a small amount of patterned paper from the Under the Umbrella 6x6 paper pad.    The clouds are from Over the Rainbow Confetti Cuts.   I love the stitched details that the Grid Stitched Tag.   The images from Greatest Adventure were used to make a little lake scene.

For my S'more trail mix, I used some chocolate chips, mini graham crackers and mini marshmallows.  I packaged them up in two mason jars tied with raffia.   I tied a tag to each one and now they are ready as quick little gifts.

Well that is it for me!    Now, it is time to hop over to Kelly Lunceford's blog!     I can't wait to hop along myself to see everyone's inspiration!   Hope you have a wonderful day.   In case you need to find your way back to the start of the hop, the full hop list is listed below.   Have fun hopping!
