Reverse Confetti - Stock Your Stash - Halloween/Fall Fun!

Hey there!   There is still time to play along with Reverse Confetti's Stock Your Stash Challenge!   This month's theme is Fall and Halloween Fun!  Right up my ally!  I love making Halloween cards to share with my family and friends.   This month, I made a card with the new Frightening Friends and the Boo Yea stamp set along with a new Criss Cross Cover panel.

I made a spooky scene with the Ghost images along with the fence from Frightening Friends.   My moon was made with the new Boo Yea stamp set and two different Reverse Confetti Inks, Bumblebee and Tangerine inks.   I did the rock and roll technique so that the moon looks like a harvest moon.

I covered my Ghosts in clear sparkle and then coated them with Glossy Accents.   I adhered them to the card panel with action wobblers so that they spring around!    My tomb stones are made using the Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts cut from Stormy and Lead cardstock.

I die cut the Criss Cross Panel from Midnight card stock and layered it onto a white card base.   I added some patterned paper to the bottom of my card from the new Abundant Autumn paper pad that had been die cut with the Nuts About You Confetti Cuts.   The fence was die cut from Midnight card stock and white heat embossed.

There is a few days left to play along with the Stock Your Stash Challenge!  Click on this link to find out more details on the challenge! Come check it out and play and if you post your creations on social media, please be sure to use the hashtag: #SYSChallenge

My Favorite Things - Happy Haunting

Happy Sunday!    I played along with the MFT Card Challenge  Sketch challenge with the Happy Haunting stamp set again!    I was not too sure about the final card but sometimes you just have to go with it and move on!    I used some washi tape to accent the ink blended panel.

I used Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemon Distress Oxide inks on a panel and then trimmed a white panel to cover the ink blended panel.

I also did an ombre blending on the Steel Grey card stock with some Black Soot Distress inks.    I colored my images with Copic markers.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great week!

Reverse Confetti - Haunt It and Best Witches

Happy Monday to you!   I am sharing a Halloween card that I made and joining in along with the Simon Says Wednesday Sketch challenge.  This weeks theme was pop it up.   I popped up several images on my Halloween graveyard card to spook it up!

I used several Halloween sets from Reverse Confetti - Haunt It for the sentiment, Best Witches for the mummy, large bat, Too Cute to Spook for the smaller bats and pumpkin and finally Frightening Friends for the pumpkin.  Whew!   That is a mouthful but I was really happy how it turned out.

I started by ink blending with several Reverse Confetti inks in Iced Aqua, Lagoon and Island Blue inks onto a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock.   I then ran it thru my die machine with the Stitched Rays cover panel.    To create my grave stone, I used Midnight cardstock along with the Haunt it stamp set to create the grave marker.   I added a Midnight panel for the ground, it was also ran thru the die machine with the Stitched Rays Cover panel.    I added some rhinestone jewels to finish it off!

Thank you for stopping by!   I would love it if you would follow me on Pinterest and Instagram.
I will be sharing more Halloween inspiration all month!

My Favorite Things - Happy Haunting

Hey there!  Happy Friday to you!   Do you have any fun weekend plans?   I am popping in to share a card that I made this week for the MFT weekly Sketch Challenge.

I used set that came out last year called Happy Haunting.    It turned out to look more like an encouragement card than a Halloween card.   I used several Distress Inks to get a really dark background and then used the Stencil Cloud border with the same inks to create a dark Halloween sky with a yellow moon.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!  Thank you for stopping by!

My Favorite Things - Frightfully Sweet

Hey there!   I am popping in to share a card that I did for the My Favorite Things sketch Challenge at the Card Challenges blog.    I am on a Halloween kick and created this card with the new stamp set called Frightfully Sweet.

It has several different adorable images and I colored them all up but only ended up using two of them on my card today.     When I looked at the sketch, I decided that I wanted to create a window and make it look like the images are peeking around to say hello.   I started by die cutting a rectangle out of the a white card panel.

I ink blended with several Distress inks (Black Soot, Seedless Preserves and Victorian Velvet) onto a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock.  I traced out where the rectangle would be and was sure to make sure that my blending was around that area and then some.

I added a die cut of a Halloween fence that is from a retired die at MFT.   You could use any fence, just die cut it from some Black Licorice cardstock.    You only see a small portion of it.   I die cut a sentiment banner using the Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips.  I white heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set onto it.   I actually flipped the sketch upside down.   I added some Rainbow jewels from Lucy's Little Things and some clear sparkle from my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to the bunnies bat wing's and the band and bow on the squirrel.

That is it for me today!   You still have some time to play if you would like to join in!    I hope you have a wonderful day!   Thank you for stopping by!    I would love it if you would follow me on Instagram or Pinterest!   I always post my projects to both!

Reverse Confetti - Frightening Friends

Hello!   I am all in the mood for Fall and Halloween.  I spent some time this weekend getting my Halloween decorations out and have the inside of my house all ready!   My hubby told me it was  a little too early to do the outside.   This year, I decorated my craft room.  Which was a first for me, I don't know why I have not done in the past.

I made a Halloween card using the new Frightening Friends stamp set from Reverse Confetti.  I also used two challenges to create my card, the color scheme from the Color Throwdown Challenge and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.    I did a 4 1/4 inch square card and used Baby Blue and Navy Blue Reverse Confetti inks to create my background.

To shake it up a bit, I white heat embossed my fence onto Midnight cardstock instead of coloring in.   I used my Copics to color in the other images.   I love that the Frightening Friends Confetti Cuts trims out the interior of the little devil!   I used a tiny bit of the Abundantly Autumn pattern paper to add some fun to the sentiment.

Reverse Confetti September New Release Blog Hop!

Today is the day!   Welcome to the September New Release Blog Hop!   Today all the new products are available for purchase in the Reverse Confetti Shop.    I am sharing two cards today with Frightening Friends and Triangle Trees.

First up.....Frightening Friends!  I LOVE HALLOWEEN and this set is going to be so much fun this season!

For the Frightening Friends I ink blended with Wisteria and Grape Soda inks onto some Bristol smooth card stock.   I then splattered it with some Copic Opaque White paint that had been thinned with water.

I stamped several of the images from Frightening Friends onto Premier Polar White card stock and then colored them with my Copic markers.  I trimmed them down with the Frightening Friends Confetti Cuts.   I added a Midnight hill trimmed with the Nuts About You Confetti Cut.   I heat embossed a sentiment in white from the stamp set.

For my next card, I used the new Triangle Trees and created a Christmas card.   I white heat embossed the trees onto some Bristol smooth card stock and ink blended with Piggy Bank, Iced Aqua and Seafoam.

I was inspired by vintage colors of Christmas ornaments.   I then trimmed then down with the Triangle Tree Confetti Cut.   I created a card base with Iced Aqua and then sprayed it with some Perfect Pearls.  Hard to see in the photo but very sparkly in real life!

I added the Christmas trees and added the window frame from the All Framed Up.  I stamped my sentiment with Midnight ink onto a strip of Premier Polar White and then backed it with a strip of glittered card stock.   I added a snowflake die cut from the Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts.

We have a HUGE blog hop today with many guests designers to inspire you!  I can't wait to hop around to see all the wonderful creations!!!   Be sure to pick up your favorites from the release and start having some fun!
