Reverse Confetti - Hero Arts Collaboration!

Hello!  Reverse Confetti has collaborated with Hero Arts and there is a gorgeous new stamp and die set created by Jen's daughter, Ella!  Proceeds from this stamp set will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign!   This set is called Better Together!  There is also a coordinating die cut set called Better Together Frame Cut!   This stamp and die are available at the Hero Arts Shop.

I started my card today by stamping a background with two of the large flower images from the set onto Stormy cardstock with white pigment ink.   I then used the Stitched Burst Cover Panel and die cut the image.   A little tip when die cutting, use a small piece of wax paper to keep the ink from transferring to your die.   I trimmed the panel down to 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches.   I added a Stitched Note from the Stitched Note & Frames Confetti Cuts.    I used a Lead cardbase to add the stamped panel.   I love being able to use the larger images in different ways!

I stamped my flower image out using the Better Together stamp set with Wine, Royal Purple, Lime Green,. Sunshine, Olive and Midnight ink.   I die cut the images out with the matching Better Together Frame cut.   I pieced the images together and popped it up with foam tape onto the main panel.

To finish my card, I white heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set onto vellum and wrapped it around my card panel!   I finished it off with some crystal jewels.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Reverse Confetti and Hero Arts design team have to inspire you with this stamp set today!

Whimsy Stamps - Woodland Ducks

Hello!  I am sharing a masculine thinking of you card today using the Whimsy Stamps Woodland Ducks stamp set.   This stamp is red rubber and has a lot of fine line details in the stamped image that come out so crisp!

I stamped the Woodland Ducks onto Neenah cardstock and colored with my Copic markers.  I die cut the panel with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die.   I then decided to work with the water lines in the stamped image and colored my water with Blue Violet Copics for a little twist!  I added some details with a white gel pen.

The background stamp is new as well and is called Tree Ring Background!   I just LOVE this background stamp!!!  This can be used with so many different types of cards because is a basic staple image!

For the sentiment, I used the Quick Strips die along with a sentiment from the Butterflies stamp set!

That is it for me!   Take a look at some of the other wonderful creations made with the new release from Whimsy Stamps!

SugarPea Designs Sending Hugs & Kisses

Hey there!  We are getting close to Valentine's Day, so I thought I would create a Valentine's Day card with the adorable Hey Winter stamp set!   I stamped the bear and three envelopes onto Neenah paper and colored with my Copics very simply.   I stamped the tiny heart from Hey Winter onto each of the cards.

For the trees, I used dark green ink and stamped each of them out and die cut with the matching Hey Winter SugarCut.   You could color these in or leave them plain like I did.  I thought that they would pop off the background!

For the background, I used the new Cute Hearts Stencil and ink blended with dark red ink onto bright red cardstock.   I then die cut the panel with the new Stitched Rectangles SugarCut.  I also die cut another white card panel with the Stitched Rectangles SugarCut.

To finish the card off, I used the Sentiments of Love stamp set and created my sentiment by grouping two of the sentiments together.   Thanks for joining me today!!

Reverse Confetti Creative Blog Hop - Movie Night

Hey there!  Welcome to the Reverse Confetti Creative Blog Hop!   You should have hopped over to me from Amy Kolling's blog!

Today, I am sharing some date night treats that you can make for movie night!

I used the Pencil & Treat Holder Confetti Cut and die cut 4 out.  You will need two for each treat holder.  I stamped the Pencil & Treat Holder with images from Picture Perfect stamp set.  I colored them in with my Copic markers.

I die cut the additional car image from Premier Polar White and colored with my Copics.   I die cut the image out with the Picture Perfect Confetti Cuts.   I die cut Iced Aqua cardstock using the Circle Ray Duos Confetti Cut.

For the sentiments, I die cut Salsa and Premier Polar White cardstock with the Three Tags Confetti Cut.  I stamped one with a sentiment from Picture Perfect and the other from Words of Love stamp set.   I layered the pencil treat holders and used strong adhesive on each end.  I tucked a bag of popcorn onto the right hand side and then punched a hole in the left hand die cut and added my sentiment tags with some red & white bakers twine.
