30 Day Color Challenge - Coloring Gorjuss Stamps

I have had these Gorjuss stamps for a while.   I have 4 different sets of stamps.  They are fairly large and cover almost a full card front.   I very rarely pull them out but I do love them!    So I decide to challenge myself with the color challenge and stamp the images out on different types of paper and have them ready to color.   Here is my first one that I colored.    This one I used Copic Markers and Neenah 110 lb card stock to color the image.

This one I colored with a fall feel.   I have not decided on a sentiment, I may just put the sentiment on the inside of the card and just place this image on a card front and call it a day.   I loved how it turned out.    This stamp is called You Brought me Love.

Beary Special Birthday - 3 cards

This is such a sweet stamp set.   I made three cards with the cute little bear images.   First up a sweet birthday card using the Distressed Patterns along with Birthday Wishes and Balloons.   I colored my bear image form the Beary Special Birthday.   The panel was stamped with the stripe with Cotton Candy and stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Wishes set in Black Licorice ink.    I topped it off with some Ballerina Pink sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

For the next card, I used a Circle Burst Stencil to create a background for my image.   I colored the bear with Copics and stamped my sentiment in Chocolate Brown ink.  I colored the cake with clear Wink of Stella and placed it on Insulation Pink card stock.

The last card, I used some pattern paper and created a backdrop for my card and image. Blueprints 25 was used for the base and the Rounded Stitched Rectangles were used to create the card.   Most of the products used were from My Favorite Things.

Lawnscaping Challenge - 134 Rainbow Challenge

Happy Saturday!   Hope you are having a wonderful day!   I made a card for the Lawnscaping Challenge this week.

I started with Distress inks and created a rainbow background.   Prior to sponging, I used a stamp set from My Favorite Things and stamped some inks splotches with Versamark and then white heat embossed them.   Then I sponged on my Distress Inks using Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Broken China and Wilted Violet.   I used my Distress Sprayer and sprayed water on the background and let sit for about 30 secs and then used a paper towel to soak up the water.  The panel was cut with a circle window frame.

I used the Lawn Fawn Stamp set Lovable Legends and colored some party animals for the card and cut out with my Scan and Cut 2.    The images were colored with Copic Markers and then placed on the card.   The sentiment was white heat embossed on black card stock and then added to the panel.   The whole panel was propped up on the card base with foam tape and then colored the images with a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen.   The ballon image is from Adorable Elephants from My Favorite Things.

Beary Special Birthday from My Favorite Things

I got my new goodies from My Favorite Things this past Friday and could not wait to dig in to my order!    I started with the new background stamp set called Transparent Triangles and white heat embossed on a watercolor panel and then used my Gansai Tambi paints to paint the background and give it a watercolor wash and set it aside to dry.

I stamped and cut my bear image out and colored it with Copics.   The image was stamped with MFT Hybrid Milk Chocolate ink.    I used the Stitched Scallop Circle die and cut a circle and then foam mounted it on the panel.    I added a speech bubble, now retired, and stamped with one of the sentiments and white heat embossed that as well.   I mounted everything to the card front and finished it off with some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequin and added clear Pico Embellisher to the balloon.   I also added some white highlights with my Sakura White Gel pen.

All products MFT unless otherwise note:
Stamps: Transparent Triangle Background, Birdie Brown Beary Special Birthday
Inks: Hybrid Milk Chocolate, Versamark
Papers: Smooth White, Watercolor and SU Basic Black
Tools: Stitched and Scalloped Circle, Speech Bubble (retired), Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins, Clear Pico Embellisher, Sakura White Gel Pen, Gansai Tambi Watercolors

I am adding this to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, I used the Photo Inspiration for my color palette.

Strike Up the Band - My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 287

Happy Fourth of July!   Hope you enjoyed your weekend and holiday.   I decided  to make a card for this week's sketch challenge.    This card was going to be a red, white and blue card but totally went the other direction!   I changed up the sketch a little bit and decided to make the background with some greens instead of blues.     Thanks for stopping by!
