My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge MFTWSC209
Here is my card for this weeks sketch. I am working on building up my Birthday card stash. I used the MFT PI Happy Banner and Birthday Chalkboard Greetings. I created a blackboard with MFT Steel Grey card stock and some Sweet Tooth Pigment ink. I started out making a background with the sentiment stamps. This part almost ended up in the trash. It was my second one and when I cut the side, I did not like the missing part. I added the vellum and then the corner again and was much happier with how it turned out.
I colored the PI image with my Copics and to pop it up off the card I decided to cut two more images with the matching die and it gives it lift but still pretty flat for mailing. You cannot see in the pictures but I added Wink of Stella in Clear to the banner to make it sparkle.
Stamps: MFT PI Happy Banner & Birthday Chalkboard Greetings
Ink: MFT Hybrid Black Licorice, Versamark, Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink
Paper: PI Kraft, SU Basic Black, MFT Berrylicious, Red Hot, SU Vellum
Tools: MFT PI Happy Banner Die, Blueprints 13, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Stitched Horizontal Rectangles

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch - MFTWSC192 & Monthly Color Challenge!
I hope you have had a great week! For this week's card I used the MFT Sketch and Color Palette Challenge to create my card. My stamp is from last years Halloween release, it is the Pure Innocence Pirate Boy.
I heat embossed the image with Versafine ink and clear embossing powder onto water color paper and then colored with my Distress Markers. I inked the edges with Distress ink in Antique Linen. This month palette challenge was Factory Green, Wild Cherry, Steel Blue and Steel Grey.
I used the linen background stamp with Bundled Sage Distress inks and was not particular careful about how it was applied.
I used several Blueprints sets for the card and my horizontal stitched rectangles. Blueprints 2, 6, 12 and 14.
Finally, I used by Silver Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Have a Fangtastic Halloween!!
I just love the new MFT PI Batty about you and the Wednesday Sketch for a Halloween card. I had so much fun creating this card. I love making Halloween cards.
Stamps: MFT PI Batty for you, Diagonal Background stripes
Ink: MFT Hybrid Black Licorice, Versamark, SU Crumb Cake
Paper: MFT Tangy Orange, Whip Cream, Copic Xpress, SU Basic Black
Tools: SU Spiderweb embossing folder, MFT Blueprints 16, Rhinestones, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Wink of Stella Clear & Black
I used my Blueprints 16 to create the card base and curved edges. I stamped Versamark on the black paper and then heat embossed with white embossing powder to make my own background with the Diagonal Stripe stamp from MFT. Next I embossed the spider web image on the Whip Cream Card stock and then distressed it with my SU Crumb Cake ink and used my Wink of Stella Clear to go over the spider web. You can't see in the photo but in real life the web sparkles!
I colored my image with Copic Markers and then distressed the image with Crumb Cake ink. I also distressed the Tangy Orange with the Crumb Cake as well. I cut three layers for the star and then covered it with the Black Wink of Stella.
The sketch is from this weeks My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club!

Here is my card this week for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch. The balloons were cut with the MFT Balloon die using Blu Raspberry, Tangy Orange and Banana Split. They were mounted on top of Smooth White Pierced Circle and then topped with a Smooth White Pierced Fishtail Flag stax stamped with MFT Hybrid Black Licorice ink with another sentiment from the Celebrate big stamp set. I added some black/white Doodlebug twine and that finished off the card.

My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club 174
I tried all day yesterday to finish this card. I wanted it to be a shaker card but I had two failed attempts and finally I said forget it. I am again super busy this weekend and just did not have a lot of time to spend stamping this weekend, so here is the final version - less the shaker part. It did not turn out so bad! I love the rainbow colors against the black and white. We have had two back to back weekends of prom/formals. So…. I paid tribute to the black and white!
The heart were made with strips of colored card stock adhered to light paper. Then I ran thru my Big Shot with a heart die from MFT Blueprints 4. I cut 6 out and have three left to make another card.
The black banner ribbon was cut with the MFT Fishtail Flag Stax. I put my cutting plate short on the end so that it did not cut the flat end off and then turned the card stock around and put back in the die to extend the flag and flag tail the other end. The center was cut with my MFT Pierced Square Stax.
All My Favorite Things Products unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: Fabulous Sayings
Ink: MFT Hybrid Black
Paper: Wild Cherry, Smooth White, Razzle Berry, Lemon Drop, Blu Raspberry, Sour Apple, Grape Jelly, SU Black, SU Vellum
Tools: Blueprints 4, Pierced Square Stax, Fishtail Flag Stax
Have an AMAZING week! Thanks for stopping by!

Sunny Thoughts and MFT New Hybrid Ink
I got my new goodies on Friday from the latest My Favorite Things release. I ordered some new stamps, stencils and inks! MFT has released this new hybrid ink in Black Licorice. It is waterproof so I was able to use my Distress Markers to do some water coloring of the image. You can use it for both Copic and Watercoloring! So cool!
There are several new items that I used on this card: Blueprints 14, On the Diagonal Background, and Raindrop Stencil. It is hard to see in this photo but I used some Versamark ink and then some irridescent embossing powder for the rain drops.

I have not used my Distress Markers in a while and it was so much fun to color her up. I also used another Hybrid ink in Kraft with the On the Diagonal background.

Mama Elephant Up and Away
I was inspired by Nichol Magourik's cards this week as she was showcasing this stamp set. I had fun creating these two cards that I am sharing today. The first card was created with several sets from Mama Elephant (my new addiction!). I brought out my Prisma Colored pencils and colored the monkey and ballon with the pencils and some Gamsol. The panels were created with the ME Femme Frames. On the main panel, I added some soft clouds with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, my MFT Wonky Scalloped border and a sponge dauber.
On the main card panel, I stamped the background with my new Mama Elephant On Point Border stamp with SU Lucky Limeade ink on Lucky Limeade card stock.
For my next card, I created my main panel with MFT Flat bottomed Clouds onto another panel cut from the Mama Elephant Femme Frames out of MFT Berrylicious card stock.
This time I colored up the bunny image with Copic markers. I flipped the panel and put in behind the vellum scalloped panel. I cut some stars with the ME Confetti creative cuts die. The greeting is from a Tiddly Inks set Flying High.
Stamps: ME Up and Away, TI Flying High, ME On point borders
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Lucky Limeade, Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
Paper: SU Lucky Limeade, PI Kraft, Vellum, MFT Berrylicious, Sweet Tooth
Tools: ME Femme Frames, MFT Blueprints 12/13, ME Confetti Cuts, ME Up and Away Creative Cuts, MFT Flat Bottomed Clouds, Wink of Stella Clear, Signo White Gel Pen, MFT Wonky Scalloped Border, Sponge

I'm all Ears!
Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I have a card to share that I made using some stencils and embossing paste. This is really fun, it is like icing a cake. The embossing paste is very smooth and creamy just like frosting.
To make my card I started off die cutting a panel from Mama Elephant Femme Frames. I die cut the rectangle piece from some My Favorite Things Pink Lemonade card stock. I used Wendy Vecchi Embossing paste and Simon Says Stamp Medium dot stencil. I sprinkled with Stampin Up Iridescent Ice embossing powder and set it aside to dry for about 30 minutes. Then I came back and zapped it with my heat gun to melt the embossing powder. It added a nice spark to the background. I have a photo that really shows the sparkle below.
I colored up the cute MFT PI I'm all Ears and then paper pieced her dress. She was popped up on a circle and greeting cut from the Blueprint 13 die. The panel was layered on a vellum die cut from the Mama Elephant Femme Frames scalloped die.
Stamps: MFT PI I'm all Ears
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Papertrey Ink Stampers Select, Vellum, MFT Pink Lemonade, Simple Stories Vintage Bliss
Tools: MFT Blueprints 13, Mama Elephant Femme Frames, Wendy Vecchi Embossing Paste, SSS medium dot stencil, SU Iridescent embossing powder, Wink of Stella clear glitter pen
I loved using the embossing paste and can't wait to use it again! Thanks for looking!

Lawn Fawn - Happy Trails
I have a weakness for the camper stamp sets. I think they are so cute. They are popping up all over the place! Every time I see one, I want to get it! I had gotten this stamp set and die set from Lawn Fawn shortly after the release. Soon afterward My Favorite Things released some new products with a similar theme. I am hooked! They are just adorable. I made this card a couple of weeks ago but did not have time to photograph card.
I started off with some Smooth White Card stock from MFT and used my Distress inks to do the background sky. I don't have the colors used but Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Broken China is usually my go to colors for sky. I used a little Black Soot at the top to just darken it up. I used my Simon Says Falling Stars die to create the starry background. (just love this die!! Waited a long time for it to come back in stock - watched it FOREVER!)
I created the landscape with more Smooth White Card stock, Distress inks and my Mama Elephant Landscape trio die to make some hills. I colored images with Copic markers. They were cut out with the matching dies. I used a MFT Blueprint 2 for the sentiment strip and added a heart from Blueprints 8. Added some Wink of Stella glitter pen and call it done!

My Favorite Things Sailor Girl
I got some new items from the recent release from MFT and colored up this little sweetie this past week. I decided to break out one of my Blueprints and go with one of the sketches suggested for the die set. She was colored with Copic markers and then I used a charcoal pencil to add some shading. I tried stamping this image in several different colors of Memento ink but ended up using the one with the Tuxedo Black. I also liked with brown ink for the image and will save that for another card. I love this paper pad that I paired with the image. It is perfect for this little Sailor Girl. It is called Glitz Uncharted Waters.
