Whimsy Stamps - More Spiders!

Hey there!  More spiders coming at you but the creepy cute kind today!!!   I paired the new Cocoon stamp set with a previously released Fuzzy Spiders stamp set.

This card was super easy to create with the new Slimline SurReally Cool patterned paper pack!  These are awesome papers and I almost hate to use them!   I just love looking at them!  They are from the September release - check them out if you LOVE Halloween!

How cute is this spider card!   Much different than the creepy one on Sunday!

Whimsy Stamps - Gnome Warm Wishes

I go from Halloween to Christmas cards in a day!   I LOVE this time of year!  It is my favorite time to make cards.   Today I am sharing the Gnome Warm Wishes stamp set that has been released this month from Whimsy Stamps!

I stamped and colored the images with my Copic markers and trimmed them out with my Scan and Cut.   I added some details with a white gel pen.

I love to use kraft cardstock with Christmas red and green colors!  They really pop off the card so I decided to use the Slimline Woodland Cottage die to create a snowy North Pole scene.  I then layered this onto a kraft card panel that had been die cut with the Slimline Envelope Edger die set.  I love the details that it adds to the card panel.

The sentiment is from Dragon Christmas Cheer stamp set.   Thanks for stopping by and check out the September release from Whimsy Stamps!

Whimsy Stamps - Slimline Hourglass

Hello!  I created this eerie card using the new Slimline Hourglass die and the Spiders and Webs die set.   I hate spiders!   Right now, we have Joro Spiders and they are everywhere!   We probably had 25+ webs across our yard and their webs are strong!!!

This card makes me think of those spiders!   They are creepy scary and can get really big!  To make this even creeper - I thought the hourglass could look like it was an hourglass of blood!  EEK!   I used the new Slimline Hourglass die set and the Spiders and Webs die set.

The sentiment is the EEK Word and Shadow die!  This die has three layers and you can use all three or choose to use one or two!

Thanks for stopping by!   If you have not heard of Joro spiders  --- Google them!   They are fairly new and very invasive!   Thanks for stopping by!

STAMPtember & SugarPea Designs Everyday Home

Happy Stamptember!  The fun is still going strong at Simon Says Stamp.  Today, I am sharing a card using the card collaboration for Simon Says Stamp and SugarPea Designs.

Wendy has created these great stamp sets that let you share a homey scene.  She has a couple of them already in the SugarPea Designs collection and this is a new one to add to the mix!  I love the blanket ladder and bench!  So homey!   This one is called Everyday Home!

I went with some turquoise blues and mustards.   These colors scream fall to me!   I would love to have this little set up in my hallway!  I just love all the details that she has added including some hooks to hang the plant or hat from!

You can only get this special stamp set at Simon Says Stamps available now!

Happy shopping!

Whimsy Stamps September Mini Release - Jeepers Creepers

Hello!   I am sharing a Halloween card that I created with the new Jeepers Creepers stamp set.   These spooky spiders have collected up some eyeballs!   I stamped the Jeepers Creepers stamp set out and colored with my Copic markers.

I trimmed the images out and stamped a few more of the single eyeballs to flow down my card panel.  You could add some crystal glaze to make it even more fun!

I paired the Jeepers Creepers stamp with some other September products: Eek Word and Shadow die, Slimline ATC die and the Spiders and Web die set.   The spiders in this die set are super creepy looking!  I love the long spindle legs!

I stamped the darker grey panels with the Web Background Stamp with black ink.  To finish this off, I covered the spiders with a clear sparkle pen.  We are having an instagram hop today!   Come join in on the fun!!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - New Release!

Welcome back to the final day of the Sweet Peek Week for SugarPea Designs Fall Collection!  Today we have book inspired new products to share: Basic Bookmark, Book Club stamp set and Book Words SugarCut!

I made this Slimline card with a detachable bookmark!  I decided to go with a Halloween theme for my project today.  I paired these new products with the super cute Bewitched stamp set.   I started with the Basic Bookmark SugarCut and die cut from black and off white cardstock.  I die cut two off white and pair one with the black die cut to create a firm bookmark.  I then trimmed some off the third die cut that was off white and layered onto the black bookmark.  This gave me a place to use my Block Alphabet die cuts create my custom message.

The sentiment is from the Book Club stamp set and I die cut the Book Words to layer on top of my stack of tiny books.   I stamped a background with the Handwritten Letter Background stamp.  I used temporary adhesive to adhere it to the card panel and it can be taken off and used as a bookmark!   I stamped the images from Bewitched and colored with my Copic markers.   I layered them onto the panel by only adhering foam tape on the right side of the images.  That way the bookmark can easily slide out.

The new release is available today!  Check it out on the SugarPea Designs Blog!!  Here is the link to today's post!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 4

Welcome back to day 4 of the Sweet Peek Week at SugarPea Designs with the Fall Collection! Today we are sharing Whole Latte Words, Brew-tiful Sentiments and Coffee Cuties.

September screams Pumpkin Latte!  So I created this thank you card with that in mind.   I stamped the main card panel with the Autumn Background stamp and die cut the panel with the Card Front Element Builder SugarCut.   I die cut a circle using the Bamboo Garden SugarCut to build my focal images and sentiment on.

I die cut Coffee Cuties and assembled them together.  I added a die cut pumpkin using the Cutie Pie SugarCut.   I die cut the word Latte from the Whole Latte Words SugarCut and then added a sentiment from Brew-tiful Sentiments stamp set.

Well that is it for me today!  Make sure to check out the post on the SugarPea Design blogs for more information!

SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Day 3

Welcome back to day 3 of the Sweet Peek Week for the 2021 Fall Collection at SugarPea Designs!

Today we are sharing a new SugarCut called Shut The Front Door!   How cute is that name!  Perfect timing because we are in the middle of an outdoor update on our house.  We had just had our house painted white.  I have been wanting to get a new front door with a large window, so I did a little designing on my card to mimic the things my own inspiration for my house!

I am a little late to the farmhouse trend so I decided to give it the cladboard front exterior.  So I die cut the main card panel using the Card Front Element Builder and then trimmed it down into multiple strips to give the appearance of cladboard.   I used the English Bond Brick Wall Stencil for the bottom of my card panel.   Not visually correct but you get the point - also good place for my Sentiment from the Little Village stamp set.

I created the front door with the elements from the Shut The Front Door SugarCut.  Instead of using the pots for the topiaries in the die I turned them upside down and made them into farmhouse style lights.  Then used carriage lights for lanterns for the front porch.   I love the look of a stained glass window on the door so I die cut it from black cardstock to give the look of stained glass.  I love the pop of black elements off the white exterior!

Check out what the design team has created with this new Shut The Front Door SugarCut!   Chcek out the posts here or in the blog hop list below.
