The sentiment set is Mama Elephant Everyday Greetings stamped in Hero Arts black ink. I used some hemp twine to tie off a bow at the top. A white gel pen added the detail back to the dots on her dress.
The next is a watercolor piece with my Distress Markers. This is not actually a card but a 5x7 piece of watercolor paper that eventually will be made into a card. No sentiment yet, I figured I would wait till I figured out what occasion I would use this for and then add a sentiment and finish it out as a card.
For my last card. I tried a very different style than I normally would do. I had searched around for more of these stamps and found a website that sells licensed products with these images. The artist uses very dark colors and has a beautiful style. Here is the website if you would like to see some more of her work.
The image was colored with Copics using B09, B04 and B02. I colored the hair black with blue highlights. I masked the image after coloring and then used my Distress inks to create the background with Mister Huey's color mist in Opaque White. Finally I took my SU Crumbcake ink and a sponge and darkened up the image and outside of the card base. I used some Glossy Accents on the heart.
Three very different looks with one stamped image. I hope you have enjoyed! Thanks for stopping by!
These are all gorgeous and so different. Your colouring is awesome, Cathy x
