Tropical Birthday

I have been a little hiatus with crafting lately.   I have been busy with family stuff that I really have not had a lot of time.   I recently took my supplies to my mom's and helped her make some cards for her friends.   She is 82 years old and learned how to stamp!!   The MISTI was the best tool ever as that made her stamping perfect.  She was very proud of her accomplishments!    I was able to create this card.

Say cheese!

Outta this world!

Here is my card for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch 266.  I used a new stamp set called Out of this World.

I watercolored the background with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors and colored the images with Copic markers.

Puppy Love

Who doesn't love puppies!  I used a Mama Elephant Playful Pups to create this Valentine's day card.  

I started with a piece of white card stock and used the LOVE dienamic and die cut it on the panel.  On another panel, I blended some Distress inks in Spun Sugar, Pickled Raspberry, and Abandoned Coral.    I colored the puppies with Copics and then placed them on the card.   A die cut heart from Blueprints 4 finish it off.  

I am entering this card in the Simon Says Wednesday Stamp Challenge.

Bot Love!

I am sharing a Paper Smooches card today!    I loved this Paper Smooches Boom Bots set!   It is absolute adorable!     This was another card that I created for the Cards from the Heart Card Drive.   Read about it here.   The drive is now closed but set a reminder for next year.   I love making cards for the kids.

Monkey Love

I have been quiet on the blog.   Life has been busy!   I was busy for a couple of weeks trying to make cards for the Cards from the Heart Card Drive.    It is a card drive for Valentine's cards for children that are in the hospital.   I wanted to get them made and shipped off to Winter Sims before the deadline which was last week.     Over the next couple of weeks, I will share some of the cards that I made.  

Here is a card for this week's MFT challenge.   I missed the week before.  I have been doing their challenges for 3 years and never missed a week!    Life got to hectic and it just wasn't going to happen.    The monkey was colored with Copic Markers.
