Countdown to Confetti - Big Bear & Heart Pals

Welcome to day two of the Countdown for the January Reverse Confetti Release!   I love the two new Dawn Machel stamp sets that we are showcasing today!   They are both adorably sweet!

First up, Heart Pals, which is just simply adorable stamp set!  I stamped my images onto Polar White card stock and colored with my Copic markers.  For my first card, I used the new Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel for my card panel.

It adds such great detail with the stitching and covers an A2 card panel perfectly.    I topped it with Falling Hearts Panel Confetti Cuts using Rose card stock.   I added some hearts using Piggy Bank, Flamingo and Salsa card stock with the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts.  I added a sentiment from the stamp set on Midnight card stock.

For my next card, I used the Hex Cover Panel for the background and some patterned paper From Cupid paper pad.    I added a die cut heart from Patterned Hearts Confetti Cuts.   The heart was cut from Rose card stock and then an Iced Aqua white embossed sentiment was added.    I love that the Hex Cover Panel provides a scattering of cut out hexagons with stitching around.

This card came together super quickly and could be easily recreated in mass for Valentine's Day.   I added some Crystal Glaze to the heart ballots for a little more sparkle and shine.   I love how the Heart Pals Confetti Cuts trims out the extra details in the stamped images.   See the little cut out below the balloons?  I added some small details with my white gel pen.

Next up, I used Big Bear stamp set along with the matching Confetti Cuts.    Instead of using my go to Copic markers, I pulled out my Zig markers and watercolored my images.   The Big Bear Confetti Cuts had some of those additional details added in that allow you to put the different accessories into the bears hands.   See the picture below of the Big Bear Confetti Cuts.

I used the Hex Cover Panel again and used some more of the patterned paper From Cupid to peek thru the hexagons.    I decided to do a die cut inlay and die cut a circle from Boo to You Confetti Cuts and then ink blended with one of my favorite color combinations:  Lagoon and Iced Aqua inks.

I added a sentiment stamped onto Midnight card stock.   Some aqua jewels were added for extra sparkle and I covered the die cut heart from Big Bear with crystal glaze.  See how the flower bundle fits underneath the hands of the bear.   I LOVE these extra details with the Big Bear Confetti Cuts!
The From Cupid patterned paper has been one of my favorite patterned paper pads.   I love this black and white geometric paper.

Confetti Countdown - Love You Most & Patterned Hearts

Love is in the air with this release with Love You Most and Patterned Hearts!   I have the whole Valentine theme going on with my projects today.    First up, I made two square cards using the new Patterned Hearts.   This stamp has 5 different patterned hearts and 5 sentiments with small adorable font!

For my first card, I stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder with 4 of the hearts using Piggy Bank, Flamingo, Rose and Salsa inks.   I die cut the hearts with the smallest heart die in the Patterned Hearts Confetti Cuts.   I used the Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts for my card panel and then placed the die cut hearts on the panel with foam tape.  I white embossed the sentiment onto Midnight card stock and trimmed it down.

Next I did a 4 1/4 square card and used the Scalloped Square Frames Confetti Cuts.   You are going to love the new patterned paper pad, From Cupid!   This is one of my FAVORITES and is perfect for Valentines Day!    I absolute love all the patterns in this paper pad and used one of my favorites from the pad for this next card.

I picked two papers and then die cut with the larger heart from Patterned Hearts Confetti Cuts from the center of the patterned square.   I also die cut it from the front panel of the card base to create a peek a boo window for my stamped heart.   I stamped the heart with Rose ink and then added my sentiment to the center flush with the heart.

Next up is Love You Most.   This follows the Christmas Circles and Boo Yea Stamp Sets with the adorable circle sentiments.  For my card, I used it as my sentiment and paired it with Patterned Hearts.   You may notice a new Hex Cover Panel.   The panel has stitching around the hex's and will cover an entire card base.  I die cut the hearts from Patterned Hearts Confetti cuts from the die cut Hex Cover Panel to do some die cut inlay.

I inked blended a card panel with Wine, Magenta and Piggy Bank inks to layer behind the panel.   I used the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts and inked some of the negative pieces with the Wine and Magenta inks.  I die cut the sentiment from Love You Most with the Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts.

A tip for the Love You Most stamp set, to get the perfect placement with your stamping, die cut the cardstock before you stamp the image.   I use my MISTI then and stamp the image onto scratch paper, then line up the negative cut and place my die cut circle and then stamp.   This makes sure that you get the perfect placement each time.   My go to stamping is always to stamp and then die cut but it works much better with this stamp set if you die cut and then stamp the image.

For my last project today, I could not finish out the Valentine theme without some chocolate!   Reverse Confetti has some really cute mini clear boxes that you can fill and give as treats.

I simply cut some of the From Cupid patterned paper into strips and wrapped it around the box, added a ribbon and a quick tag made with the Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts.   I used various card stock and inks in Salsa, Rose,  Flamingo, Piggy Bank and Grape Soda.

Isn't this patterned paper From Cupid the cutest!    I love Reverse Confetti Inks, they are so bright and stamp so cleanly.   Here is a close up of the tags and patterned paper.

That is it for me today!

Sugarpea Designs - Llama Just Say

Hey there! I hope your New Year is going well!  I have some exciting news to share, I will be Guest Designing for SugarPea Designs for January and February!   I am so thrilled to share my inspiration with you using SugarPea's sweet products over the next couple of months.   For my intro today, I created this birthday celebration card using Llama Just Say stamp set.   I had picked up this stamp set during the Black Friday sales and it is so adorable.  I love it's heart nose!

After several months of holiday card making, I am was so happy to create a simple birthday card!   I stamped my images onto Neenah Solar White 80 lb paper and then colored with my Copic markers.  I used the "dotting" technique to create the shadow areas on the llama.   I layered the llama onto a card panel that was trimmed down with the SugarCut Postage Stamp and cut it from white and light grey card stock and layered them together.   I mounted it with foam tape to a card base covered with Navy & White patterned paper from Spots & Stripes Brights Patterned Paper.

I added a small red heart from the same SugarCuts Postage Stamp.   I added details to the images with my Sakura White Gel Pen and my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.

Reverse Confetti - Heart Spots

Hey there!   I am popping in to share a card that I made for my mother for her birthday!   I used this weeks, CAS(e) this Sketch #303 for my inspiration.

I started looking thru my stash of supplies and found a cover panel that reminded me of the sketch and one that I have not used in a while, Big Stripes Cover Panel.  I die cut it from some Stormy card stock.  I love the straight lines and pops of white against the darker gray.   The center of the die has a circle cut out from the middle of it but I covered it up here to add scalloped circle.

For my main focal point, I used the Heart Spots stamp set from Reverse Confetti and paired it with the Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts.   I stamped my images and colored with Copic markers.   I then die cut my circle and banner with the Cloud White card stock.   The scalloped circle and Mom were both die cut from Rose card stock.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment, "you hold a spot in my heart".    I love how the mom die cut makes it more customized to her.

That is it for me today!   Thank you for stopping by!

Before you leave and move on to the next stop on the hop, I would love to share with you a card that I made with a stamp set that I just got during the Black Friday sales!   I loved this stamp set called Stay Cool from Neat & Tangled.   The little eskimo's stole my heart and I just had to have this set.

I started off by ink blending a sky background with some of my favorite Reverse Confetti inks: Iced Aqua, Lagoon and Midnight.    I love Reverse Confetti inks, they are so bright and blend so easy.   I used the new life changing blending brushes that I got from Picket Fences Studios.

I set the background aside to dry while I stamped the images from Stay Cool and added another image from Get Yeti (mountains) to create my scene.    I colored my images with my Copics.

It is hard to see in the photos but I added so much sparkle to the fur trim on the hats, the coats, the mountains, the fish and penguin with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.   I also added some additional details with a Sakura White Gel pen.    My sentiment was white heat embossed onto the inked panel.

I adhered some of the images directly down to the panel and others were popped up with some foam tape.    I love making scene cards!   I usually stamp out all the images and then decide how I will use them.  I also stamp a few extra images for the future and store with the stamp set.
