Color Throwdown Challenge - Banner In Bloom

Happy Sunday!   I was able to get a little card making in this weekend and created this with the new Reverse Confetti Banner in Bloom stamp set.   I wanted to create a soft looking very feminine card with the Color Throwdown Challenge colors this week of Light Pink, Dark Pink and Green.    I stamped one of the flower images from the Banner in Bloom and made a background piece.   I then colored the images with Copic markers in various pinks and greens.

I cut white cardstock with the Striped Frame Cover Panel and layered on top of the stamped and colored images.   I also cut a Hello sentiment from the Hello & Thanks Label and placed some black card stock cut out with the Pierced Rounded Top Layer Confetti Cut.    I added some Marshmallow sequins.

Case this Sketch #229 - Reverse Confetti Mahalo

I am playing along with Case this Sketch #229.  I decided to make a card with the new Reverse Confetti Mahalo stamp set.    The sketch had a geometric pattern in the background, so I stamped the mahalo multiple times to make the background using the new Reverse Confetti Parakeet Ink on the new Premier Polar White card stock. 

I stamped the images and used the new Mint and Piggy Bank ink.   Next I used the Bitty Banners and Bitty Banner Confetti Cut to make a thanks tag for my party drinks!   I stamped it in the Parakeet ink.    Then I added clear glitter to the sides of the main panel and the coconut cups.   The panel was then mounted on Dark Roast card panel.   Thanks for stopping by!    Please follow me on Instagram and Pinterest by clicking on the link above!

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge 340

I am playing along in the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge!   I recently go this Birdie Brown Stamp set called Up in the Air and I had so much fun making this card.   

I stamped and Copic colored the images and cut them out.   I used the new cloud stencil and created my cloudy background on some Bristol card stock cut with the Stitched Arch Stax.   

I used some of the yellow patterned paper from the Farm Fresh Gingham pack.   I added a strip of Summer Splash stamped with Summer Splash ink with the Linen background Stamp.    The sentiment was stamped and cut with a Fishtail Flag Stax.    I added some clear sequins and used my Sakura White Gel pen to add some details.

My Favorite Things - Party Like a Pirate - The Heart Desires Challenge 14

Today I am sharing a card that I made using the My Favorite Things Party Like a Pirate stamp set by Birdie Brown.   I am playing in a new challenge today, I loved the inspiration photo and thought this would be a great set to use!  There is a nautical theme going on in the inspiration photo.    I don't have a lot of nautical stamp sets but I did have this pirate set! :-)

I started out Copic coloring my images on Neenah 80 lb. card stock and trimmed them out with my Scan and Cut.    The blues and reds really stood out to me in the photo above so I wanted to make sure that I had those in my card.   

I then took some Blue China Distress Oxide ink and ink blended it over some Bristol card stock and flicked on some water.    I trimmed out the main panel with my Blueprints 13 for the stitched detail on the edge.  This is one of my favorite Blueprint sets.   

I added in some details to my images with the Copic markers, a black Sakura gel pen and my Spectrum Noir Clear sparkle markers

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink onto some black card stock and white heat embossed.   I cut it out with my MFT Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips.   

I mounted the panel onto a Nightshift Blue card stock from MFT as well.   I popped up all the images with some foam tape.

Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop!

Today is the day for the release of the products!   The entire July release is now available in the Reverse Confetti shop!    We are celebrating with a Blog Hop and you have arrived from the beautiful Amy Kolling's blog!   

I have several projects to share today.   For my first project, I am using the Banners in Bloom Stamp set.   I colored my stamped image with Distress Inks on watercolor card stock that had been clear heat embossed.   Then I cut out with the coordinating Banner in Bloom Confetti Cuts.   

I then cut a Mist card stock panel with the Pierced Rounded Top Layers Confetti Cuts and added the Wreaths image cut from black card stock.    

I stamped the card base with the Banners in Bloom stamp set in matching ink and then layered my panel on top.   I added some hemp twine and some clear sparkling sequins.   

I love the new Magical Day stamp set and Sentiment Essentials stamp sets!   I decided to create a birthday tag.   

I used the Pierced Rounded Top Layers and cut one from Bristol Smooth card stock and the new Premier Polar White card stock.     I ink blended with Seafoam and Parakeet ink on the Bristol card stock and then splattered it with some brown ink.    

I stamped the happy birthday sentiment from Sentiment Essentials and placed at the top of the tag.   I stamped the images from the Magical Day stamp set and cut them out with the Magical Day Confetti Cut dies.   

I add some sparkle with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen and topped it off with some ribbon tied with twine.   Before adding the ribbon, I added a second tag to the back to make it more sturdy.   

One last card to share......I die cut the Thanks Square three times in the Premier Polar White card stock.    I glued and stacked them all together.   

I stamped a piece of Dark Roast card stock and stamped with the Banners in Bloom stamp set in Versamark ink and used clear embossing powder.   I stamped it all over the background.    I cut it slightly smaller than the Thanks Square.    

I added some Stone card stock to the cut outs in the Thanks panel. 

I have two more cards to share with you today.   When I saw the Thanks Square and the Hello Square I immediately thought of adding a rainbow of color card stock stripes using a die cut inlay technique.   I cut several thin strips of Reverse Confetti card stock in a rainbow of colors.  I adhered them onto a thin piece of paper and then die cut it with the Thanks Square.   Then I created two cards with the die cut pieces and added them with the Premier Polar white card stock and card base.
