Reverse Confetti - Miso Happy

I am sharing a card today made with the super cute stamp set from Reverse Confetti called Miso Happy.   This was one of my favorite sets from the May release.   I love these pandas.   They are super adorable and make for quick card making because they don't require that much coloring!

I like stamping them with Versafine Black Onyx ink and then heat embossing with clear embossing powder on water color card stock.    Then I use my watercolors to add a little detail, little grey for shading and pink for the noses.    I know that pandas have black noses, but I think they are cuter with pink noses. :-)    I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors to watercolor all the images.

The clouds and the balloon are from the Take Flight stamp set also released in May.    The background was sponged with aqua and green ink.   I stamped a sentiment from the Miso Happy stamp set and then put the entire panel on an aqua card base.    I added glossy accents to the balloon and Clear Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the clouds.

Reverse Confetti - Lift Me Up Birthday Card

Hey everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your long weekend.   I used the Lift Me Up stamp set from Reverse Confetti to create a cute birthday card.   I stamped all the images and colored with my Copic Markers and then trimmed them all out.

I used the Striped Frame Cover Panel from Reverse Confetti and cut it out three times, one from aqua, red and white card stock.    I then pieced the red in with the aqua panel.  I stamped the white panel with my sentiment from the Lift Me Up stamp set.

All the images were then placed on the panel with foam tape and  I added detail with a white gel pen.   To finish it off, I added some Clear Sparkling Sequins.

Reverse Confetti - Blooms N' Buds

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to you all!    I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.    I am sharing some cards that I made last weekend using the Reverse Confetti Blooms N' Buds stamp set.

I created a couple of cards stamping the flower images in Versamark and then clear heat embossing the stamped images.   For the first panel, I ink blended some RC Stone ink on the panel over the embossed images.

You get a soft background that looks so pretty!   I gold embossed the Thanks from the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts set and paired it with the Wreath die.

For this next card, I did the same clear embossing of the stamped images onto some watercolor card stock and then water colored with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.

The sentiment is from One Day at a Time stamp set and it was heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder on a Lacy Scalloped Circle Confetti Cut.

Don't forget that the One Day at a Time Stamp set will donate to the Pink Fund.   Read more about it here.   And the stamp set is now back in stock at Reverse Confetti!

My Favorite Things - Mermazing

I just love Birdie Brown stamp sets!   I just got the new stamp set called, Mermazing and it is absolutely adorable!    I used another new goodie from My Favorite Things, Mermaid Tail background stamp and white heat embossed on some Bristol Smooth card stock and ink blended with several distress inks in Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistashio and Salty Ocean.

I colored the mermaid on Neenah Solar white 80 lbs and cut out with my Scan and Cut.   I colored with Copic markers and added detail with my Sakura White Gel pen and Clear Sparkle pen.

I tried to match my Copic markers to the Distress ink colors that I did in the background for the tail.

The Distress background was then cut out with the Oval Stitched Frame.    I also cut  a white panel with the Oval Frames.   I used the new Stitched Oval Word Windows and stamped the sentiment.    The Ovals were pieced together and the main image was popped up on the panel   I added it to a Sno Cone Card base.

I finished off with several different sized and colored sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!   I am adding this card to the Simon Says Challenge - Add a Bit of Sparkle!

Reverse Confetti - Sketch For You To Try - Butterfly Dreams

Happy Day to you!   I am back to share a card for the Reverse Confetti Sketch.  I used the stamp sets Butterfly Dreams and Elemental Stripes.

I stamped the Butterfly's with Buttercup and Sunshine inks and made an ombre effect on the main butterfly.   The main panel was stamped with one of the stripes for a tone on tone impact.   Sequins were added to add sparkle and shine!

Reverse Confetti - Rollin'

I had some fun this weekend using the Rollin' stamp set and creating these cards.     I said it previously, this set takes me back to the 80's when I was in high school and skating was my thing!

I just love that roller skate image!    The sentiment is from a new set as well from Reverse Confetti called Work of Art.

I stamped with the Elemental Stripes set and then cut a circle out of the middle to stamp my sentiment.

Love all the rainbow of color!

New Release Blog Hop! Reverse Confetti

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop for May!

It is the final day and all products are available at Reverse Confetti!    You should have arrived here from Amy Kolling's blog!

I think I have an obsession with these Panda's from Miso Happy.   I super love them!  They were stamped on watercolor paper and then lightly colored with my Zig markers.   So super quick! The clouds were die cut from the  Take Me Away Confetti Cut set.     The top panel is made from Buttercup card stock that I sponged with Bumblebee ink thru the Leaf Lattice stencil.   I just love this yellow combination!   It is absolutely gorgeous together.

For the focal point, I used the new Hello & Thanks Label to cut the center from my main panel and sponged some Aqua and Lime Green  Reverse Confetti dye ink on the card stock underneath for the grass and sky.   I stamped a sentiment from the Miso Happy stamp set and then white heat embossed and trimmed it down.

For my next card, I needed a card for a baby shower.   I have used this starburst technique in the past and it is really great when you want to use patterned papers.    I selected four of the designs from the Pattern Play 6x6 pad and cut a 2 inch rectangle from each pattern.

Then take each rectangle and cut from one corner to the opposite corner to create two triangles.   Next take a panel and adhere adhesive tape all over the panel.    Starting in the middle, lay down one of your triangles with some of the paper over on the top and bottom of the adhesive panel.   Then alternate each pattern till the panel is full.    Trim off the excess from all sides.    You will have a starburst pattern!

I took my paper pieced panel and mounted to some Reverse Confetti Aqua cardstock.   I added a little panda from the Miso Happy stamp set and a sentiment from Simply Sentiments mounted a circle and scalloped circle from the Flowers for Mom  Confetti Cuts.
