Seasons Givings Blog Hop

EDITED FOR WINNER:

HAPPY NEW YEAR --great card--- Cleaning my craft room is a must do millierose651@aol.com

GIVEAWAY CLOSED!!!!    Patty - I will have your package in the mail to you!!!!   Thank you for all your inspiration of what you are looking forward to this new year!   Bless you all!

I am so happy this year to be participating in the Seasons Givings Blog Hop.   This hop was put together 7 years ago by Latisha Yoast as a way of saying thank you to all the blog readers who take the time to read our posts, comment or follow along in our adventures in the paper crafting community!   This is a HUGE hop and each stop will be hosting a give away!

So THANK YOU EVERYONE!   I really appreciate the sweet comments, the time you take to read my posts and visit with me! I am so thankful that I am part of this wonderful community of crafters and companies that support and love one another.

I have put together a prize package to give away of dies and stamps that I hope the winner will enjoy receiving!   All you need to do to enter is to comment below and tell me what is one thing that you are looking forward to in the new year!

Before you leave and move on to the next stop on the hop, I would love to share with you a card that I made with a stamp set that I just got during the Black Friday sales!   I loved this stamp set called Stay Cool from Neat & Tangled.   The little eskimo's stole my heart and I just had to have this set.

I started off by ink blending a sky background with some of my favorite Reverse Confetti inks: Iced Aqua, Lagoon and Midnight.    I love Reverse Confetti inks, they are so bright and blend so easy.   I used the new life changing blending brushes that I got from Picket Fences Studios.

I set the background aside to dry while I stamped the images from Stay Cool and added another image from Get Yeti (mountains) to create my scene.    I colored my images with my Copics.

It is hard to see in the photos but I added so much sparkle to the fur trim on the hats, the coats, the mountains, the fish and penguin with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.   I also added some additional details with a Sakura White Gel pen.    My sentiment was white heat embossed onto the inked panel.

I adhered some of the images directly down to the panel and others were popped up with some foam tape.    I love making scene cards!   I usually stamp out all the images and then decide how I will use them.  I also stamp a few extra images for the future and store with the stamp set.

Ok... for the giveaway to one commenter below - there are three stamp sets and four dies that I would love to share with the winner!   Please enter your comment below on what you are looking forward to in the new year and comment by 11 pm EST on January 5th!    I will draw a winner on January 6th and share the winner once selected on this blog post after the 6th.   If you are selected, please contact me by email (triciabarber@live.com) by January 11th!

Here is the full hop list for you to hop along!   Thank you again for your support!   If you are new to my blog, you can find me here each week and follow by email, or follow me on Instagram or Pinterest!

Happy New Year!

  149. Such a cute scene and your sky looks great! Thanks for the giveaway. I'm really looking forward to my vacation to AZ to visit my grandson (he'll be 3 the end of this month). We only get to see him once a year now that they moved so far away. I'm also looking forward to the day when all my craft stuff is unpacked and organized in my craft room.
