Pixi Dust Designs - Christmas Tags - Nutcracker Mug

 Hello! I am popping in to share some more Christmas tags I made with the new Nutcracker Mug die from Pixi Dust Designs.  I adore the mug dies that Sandra has in her shop!   

I went tradition with the first one and then brightened it up for the second.  I definitely want to make severl more of the brights!  I am making some holiday cookies this year with a Nutcracker theme and these will be so cool to add to the packaging.    

These are so much fun to make. The dies and the package really help with how to add all the little bits and pieces which makes it super easy.  There are lines that the die will leave to help guide you along!

Pixi Dust Designs - Christmas in July

 Hello!  I am guest designing for Pixi Dust Designs and sharing some projects I made with the Christmas in July release!  

I was able to use the new Stocking Gift Card Holder die and the X-Mas Pals die.  I made four of these tags but I will be making more of these cute stockings for tags and gift card holders for the holidays.  

The X-mas Pals die add just such sweet cuteness to these stockings!  They can be added to many different things and so much fund to build. I used them as huggers for the top and then added to the front of the stocking like an applique.  

With the Stocking Gift Card Holder die - there is a pocket on the back and another die that allows you to add a gift card with slits to add the gift card.  

You can use traditional Christmas colors or design these to match your gift wrap paper!   How adorable and so much fun to make.

Inspired By Popsicles

 Hello!  I am sharing a card I made for the Inspired By Challenge! I love this Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream die from The Greetery.  It has been so much fun to use.   I also love the matching What's the Scoop die and stamp set.   

I paired it with the Ribbon Maker: Pinked Stars die.   Hop over to the Inspired By Challenge blog and play along with the team this week!  I used both the photo and sketch for this weeks challenge to create my card!   

Inspired By Challenge - Hamburg

 

Hello! I am sharing a card that I made with this week's Inspired By Challenge.  I decided to go with the "inspired by" theme using the linear lines of the buildings and card design.   I trimmed down several strips of cardstock and then covered with double sided tape and added fine white glitter to each strip.   The Scoop even mimics the lines of the buildings!   

I used The Greetery What's the Scoop die set along with the Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone die along with the What's the Scoop stamp set.   I hope you get an opportunity to play along with the challenge this week!

Inspired By Challenge - Peerless Watercolor Poppies

I have not watercolored in a long time! I used my Peerless Watercolor swatches. These are so bright and vibrant and I had forgotten how easy and fun they were to color with. So relaxing!

I used Whimsy Stamps: Himalayan Poppy stamp along with the Speckled Background stamp. I love that the Nested Hexagon die set comes with a large scalloped hexagon die to create a frame.

For my card design this week, I used the Inspired By Challenge sketch. To mirror the three boxes I trimmed the right side of the die cut panel. Come play along at the Inspired By Challenge!

Inspired By Challenge - Picnic

 Hello! I am sharing my card that I created for the Inspired By Challenge this week!   The theme this week is Picnic! I knew right away I wanted to use some new products that I just ordered from The Greetery called Sippin" Summer.   I love this lemonade themed set and combined it with the Botanicals Strawberry die.  How refreshing!   This card was so fun to make.  

I created my background using the new A2 Stitched Scallops die along with the Scalloped Gingham stencil.  You have to check out the posts on The Greetery to see all the fun things you can do with the stencil that pairs with this die.  I created a soft pink background to play off the strawberries!  I loved created the Trendy Tumbler and the Sippin Summer stamp set.   There are some great sentiments that pair along with the Squeeze the Day Sentiments stamp set.

Inspired By Challenge - The Greetery

 Hello! I am sharing a card I made for the Inspired By Challenge!  This week I was inspired by the sketch and used some of my new products from The Greetery!   

I loved the streamers and inflated sentiment stamp set.   It was so much fun to play with!  I stamped the streamers with the Celebrations Streamers stamp and stencil set.  Then I added some hot foiled details with the Ticker Tape hot foil plate.   

I die cut some streamers and added some foam tape to pop them up off the panel using the Curly Q Streamers die.   The sentiment is from the Inflated Sentiments stamp set and die cut.  I used some of the die cuts from Award Winning die set.

Inspired By Challenge - Muffin Cups

Hello! I am sharing a card I created for the Inspired By Challenge and this week's theme is Muffin Cups!  I reached for The Greetery Hey Cupcake die that I used in last weeks card.  I love chocolate cupcakes created this birthday card with that in mind!   

When I was young,  I loved to make cupcakes and use the foiled muffin cups.  Something about them made them seem fancier than the pastel muffin cups.  This die makes for some yummy treats!  I created a plate, I used the Hoopla Round Inserts die.  

The background is one of my favorites and it is called Spring Meadow background stamp.  I then added texture with the Aida Cloth Texture Plate.   The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and is called Simple Strips Birthday!

Inspired By Challege - Boxes

 Hey everyone!  I am sharing a card I created for the Inspired By Challenge this week. 

I used some stamps and dies from The Greetery:  Hey Cupcake and Sweet and Fancy Label stamp, die and hot foil set.  When I saw the inspiration picture, I knew I wanted to use these sets.  How yummy do these look!  I love all the details that you can add with the flowers, strawberry, cookie and cherry!

To create my cupcake box I used the Frosted Frames die and some patterned paper.  I doubled up the die cut and added with foam tape to create some dimension!

Inspired By Challenge - Florals

 Hello!  I am sharing a card I created for the Inspired By Challenge, this week's theme is Florals!  I used the Taylored Expressions Diamond Botanical stamp and die set.  Such a beautiful design.  

I colored the image with my Copic markers and used a color palette of blues and light browns.  I layered onto a woodgrain panel and then layered with a dark blue panel that I used an older die that creates stitched line details.

Hello! I have a card I created for the Inspired By Challenge this week!  This week's theme is Mom Charcuterie. I decided to go with the mom theme and created this card for my mom for Mother's Day!  

I used a mix of old and new products some retired from Reverse Confetti and new to me products from Taylored Expressions.

Inspired by Challenge - Wellies

 Hello!  I hope you are doing well.  I am sharing a card I created for the Inspired By Challenge this week!  The theme is wellies!  I tell you what a challenge this card was, not because of the stamping and coloring but because I could not find my stamp!  

I knew that I had this cute stamp from Newton's Nook but searched my craft room high and low looking for it!  Has that ever happened to you?   As it turns out, I had stuck the stamp and some other Newton Nook stamps and stencils inside a drawer that I had scraps in.   Oh my!!  I looked everywhere and finally decided to open every drawer and search every nook and cranny for this set.   As it turns out, I also found this cute stencil also from Newton's Nook! It's called the Bokeh Hearts Stencil.   I love it!  

This was the first time as well that I colored a siamese cat!  I used my E70, E71, E74 and E77 to color up the cat and added pink details to the ear and nose with R32 and R30!

Inspired By Challenge - Rainbow Pops

 Hello!  I am sharing a card made for this week's Inspired by Challenge! I love rainbows and anything rainbow, the bright and cheery colors make me smile.   This week's inspiration photo and theme is Rainbow Pops.   I used the All Aglow stencil and Takes the Cake stamp set along with the Takes the Cake banner die.  

This is such a fun stencil set that is super easy to ink up with Distress Oxides inks and creates such a cute birthday card.   I have made several version of these!  I stamped the sentiment and used the banner die from the Takes the Cake set from The Greetery.

Inspired By Challenge - Umbrellas

 Hello! I am sharing a card for the Inspired By Challenge.  This week's theme is Umbrella's.  I had such a cute card in mind and it turned out exactly how I envisioned!  I love it!  I used Whimsy Stamps Dragon Water Fun stamp set along with a Rain Drops background stamp.  

I colored the images with Copic markers.  Check out my Pinterest page as I have many Copic boards.   I then used Distress Inks: Prized Ribbon, Black Soot, Broken China, Tumbled Glass, and Lost Shadow.  I then stamped with the Rain Drops background stamp with White Pigment ink.  I also stamped the dragon on the right as well.   

I added some Crystal Glaze for a puddle under the one dragon and added some ombre jewels to finish it off!
