Count Down to Confetti Release - One Day at a Time and Simply Sentiments

Hello again!   It is day three of the Reverse Confetti Sneak Peek for the May release and 4th Birthday Celebration!  

There are 7 stamp sets, 10 Confetti Cuts, a new 6x6 patterned paper pad, 4 new inks and cardstocks and 1 new stencil that will be available to purchase on May 8th!   

Today, I am featuring both sentiment sets that will be released.

As part of the release today, proceeds from the One Day at a Time stamp set will be donated to THE PINK FUND. The Pink Fund provides 90 day non-medical cost of living expenses to breast cancer patients in active treatment for breast cancer so they can focus on healing, raising families and returning to the workplace.   

First up, One Day at a Time has some great sentiments that are bold and great for encouragement cards.   I chose to pair this with the Miso Happy and Take Flight stamp sets.    I ink blended some blue and green inks onto some Bristol cardstock and then stamped my sentiment and then heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder.  

I added the little panda from Miso Happy and the paper airplane from the Take Flight stamp set.    The panel was popped up on some of the patterned paper from new the Pattern Play paper pad.    

These pandas are one of my favorites from the release. :-) They are just simply adorable.



For my next card,  I used a sentiment from Simply Sentiments for a sweet birthday card.    I added the clouds and the balloon from the new Take Flight and the sweet chubby panda from the Miso Happy stamp set.

But wait!!!   I have one more card to share!  This time I wanted to create a more sophisticated card using the One Day at a Time Sentiment Stamp set.    I heat embossed the sentiment in a beautiful liquid platinum embossing powder.  I loved how bold the sentiment looks.   I used the Hello and Thanks Label for the sentiment and layered it on top of the Vertical Stripes Panel and placed on top of a card panel of the same color.  

I then stamped flowers from the Blooms 'n Bud stamp set.   I also die cut the Wheat  Confetti Cuts die and embossed the die cuts with the same Liquid Platinum embossing powder and then layered them up to the left of the sentiment.    I accented with some enamel dots.

Countdown to Confetti - Work of Art, Rollin', Take Flight

 

Welcome to day two of the Reverse Confetti May release and Birthday Celebration!  

Today, I am featuring the Rollin' stamp set.  When I saw the Rollin' stamp set, I could not help but be a little nostalgic with the images in this set.   First up, I went with a rainbow theme with the Vertical Stripes Cover Panel by cutting the main panel in white and then adding my rainbow stripes.    

The roller skate and matching sentiment were white heat embossed on the Hello & Thanks label onto black card stock and placed on top of the cover panel.    I love the crisp black and white against the rainbow of color!

Next, I went more with some beach colors. The bike image reminded me of Hilton Head and biking around the island.     I did similar to what I did on the previous card, I cut the Vertical Stripes cover panel out of white card stock.   I used some of the new Sunshine card stock.   

The bike was white heat embossed on some light blue card stock and added to the new Rounded Top Tag.   I tied some twine on my tag and mounted the bicycle popping it up with some foam tape.    The matching sentiment was white heat embossed on gray card stock.    I added some clear droplets to finish the card.

I ended up with a lot of left over strips from all my Vertical Stripes Cover Panel cuts.     I never like to throw away the left overs, I figure I can find a use for them later.   I took my strips and adhered them in a pattern across a card panel.   

I trimmed it down to a 4 by 5 1/4 inch panel and then added a small white base (from the Rounded Top Tag) for my Hello which is from the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts Set.   I kept it pretty simple and love the simplicity of the card.  

Next up, I used the new Swoosh Cover Panel and created a really simply card   I cut the panel out of white, black and some patterned paper from the new Pattern Play paper pad.    I then pieced in the papers and added the thanks from the Hello & Thanks Label die.   

This makes for a really quick and easy thank you card!

Countdown to Confetti: Miso Happy & Think Pink

I am so happy to be a part of the May release with Reverse Confetti and a 'Fetti Friend!   This is a special release because Reverse Confetti is celebrating their 4th birthday!   I will be sharing some sneak peeks in the count down of the new products that will be available to purchase on May 8th.  Today we are starting out with two ultra adorable stamp and die sets - Miso Happy & Think Pink!   

To get the party started Reverse Confetti is hosting a blog hop today to celebrate along with CardMaker's Magazine!  You can start the hop at the Reverse Confetti Blog!   If you are following along you have arrived here from Amy Kolling's blog! 

First up, these cute little pandas from the Miso Happy Stamp set.   I stamped and clear heat embossed the images on watercolor cardstock and used my Zig markers to color them in.    I then used matching Miso Happy Confetti cuts to cut them out.  

I ink blended some light blue ink on some Bristol card stock and added a black panel for the sentiment.   I added some twine to the top of the card and some Pico Clear Embellisher to the noses of the pandas.   Aren't they adorable!

For my next card, I used the Miso Happy again with the new Vertical Stripes Cover Panel.    I backed the panel with the new 6x6 Pattern Play paper pad and added a sentiment from an older stamp set, Figure of Speech. 

For the next two cards, I used the Think Pink stamp set and some of the new Buttercup paper.   I stamped and colored the images from Think Pink in black ink and colored with my Copics.    I then
cut all the images out with the matching Confetti cuts and began to assemble my cards.

I used the new Leaf Lattice stencil and stenciled some of the new Buttercup ink partially on the card stock.    I added the Reverse Confetti Wreath and banner from Flowers from Mom to the card.  

Next up,  I used the Buttercup paper and Bumblebee ink thru the Leaf Lattice Stencil and applied a good amount of color to create my own background paper.    The layout was similar but adjusted slightly from the prior card by adding a solid circle from the Lacy Scalloped Circles Confetti cuts and lowered the banner on the card.

Reverse Confetti - Fetti Friend

Well I am so excited to share that I will be a 'Fetti Friend on Reverse Confetti in the month of May and June!  Woot! Woot!    I can't wait to share with you all the fun things that I have been creating with the upcoming release!    

So, until I can share the new release goodies......I am going to use a new to me Reverse Confetti Stamp set call Unicorn Wishes.   

The images were colored with Copic Markers.   I used the Stamped Note along with the Straight Stripes Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts to create a focal point for my stamped images.  The sentiment was white heat embossed and then trimmed down to add to my card.   I added some sequins to add a little sparkle.
