Reverse Confetti - Stock Your Stash June Challenge

Hello!   I am sharing a card that I made for the Stock Your Stash June Challenge.  This month's theme is Hello or Just Because.  Today is the day that a few of us on the Confetti Crew share cards that we made for the challenge.   I accidentally shared mine a little early, OOPS! See my prior post with the Moon Men stamp set.   So I decided to make another card and used a new to me stamp set, Coffee and You along with the My Sunshine Stamp set.

I started my card by taking a 4 x 5 1/4 inch Iced Aqua card stock panel with Iced Aqua and RC Aqua ink and the Leaf Lattice stencil.   I created an ombre effect my my inking and used the RC Aqua on the bottom and blended to the top with the Iced Aqua.   I then die cut the panel with the Hello & Thanks Confetti Cuts to create a shaker window.

I stamped the images from Coffee and You stamp set onto Premier Polar White and colored in with my Copic markers.    I then die cut them out with the Coffee and You Confetti Cuts.    I stamped a sentiment from My Sunshine stamp set, You Brighten My World and inked it with the Sunshine and Bumblebee inks.    I used the rock and roll technique and inked a side of the sun with the Bumblebee ink.   I then die cut the sun and rays out with the My Sunshine Confetti Cuts.

On my white card base, I stamped some very light grey lines with a stamp from Elemental Stripes with Stone Ink.   It just needed something in the background and I did not want to ink blend but add some more interest to the white panel.   I have been on a shaker card kick lately, so I trimmed a window sheet for the  windows in the main panel.    I added a double layer of foam tape to the back so that my sequins could really shake around.   I then added a mixture of clear, light blue, aqua, and yellow sequins to the top of the card base and added my panel to the top.  I then added some Ranger Diamond Stickles to the donut and the star on the coffee mug.    I added a few details with my Uniball Signo White Gel pen.

Reverse Confetti - Stock Your Stash Challenge

Hey there!    I am sharing my card that I made for the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge!     I just love this challenge, you can make whatever card you want no sketch or colors to follow just make it in the them of the month.   June is Hello and Just Because.  Well I went all out for this card.    I don't do shaker cards that often because I usually end up messing something up and then there is sequins and sparkle everywhere....on the floor, all over my desk, static clinging them everywhere!  But I survived this card!   Whew!    I also broke out my Zig markers which I have not used in FOREVER!

To make the card, I watercolored the images from Reverse Confetti Moon Men and colored with my Zig markers and Canson Watercolor paper.    It definitely has been awhile and I need to practice more with these markers.    I die cut the images with the Moon Men Confetti Cuts.

For my background, I used Distress Inks and ink smooshing technique to create the galaxy.   Normally, I would add a lot of black in but I decided to go for a bright blue galaxy and used Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon.   Once it was dry, I actually ink blended onto the edges that still were more lighter than the center.    I white heat embossed some stars and the constellation onto the background.

For my sentiment, I white heat embossed a greeting from Simply Sentiments to go along with the challenge!   I added my images to the window plastic popping some up with foam tape and added others directly to the clear panel.

Now for the shaker portion, it actually worked out for me this time.   I used the Reverse Confetti All Framed Up Confetti Cuts to create my frame out of Midnight card stock.  I added a thin strip of double foam tape around the shaker window.  I piled up sequins in the middle - mixture of various companies and types of sequins.   I wanted a ton of sparkle.  I then die cut three stars from silver glitter paper to add to my shaker.

Speaking of sparkle, I think I may have gone a little a little wild, I added Tonic Crystal Glaze to the astronauts and the space ship window.   I covered several images with my Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter brush....AND...... broke out my Ranger Distress Stickles in Diamond and added bits and pieces all over the planets!

That is it for me!   But hey... you still have time to participate with the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge and be eligible to win a gift certificate to the RC Store.   Click on this link to find out more details on the challenge! Reverse Confetti - Hey Sugar & Pattern Blocks

Hello! I am sharing a card today that I went wild on it with stamps and die!    I used 4 die sets, 3 stamp sets, 3 inks and 1 paper pad!   Whew!   That was a lot!   But in the end, I loved how this little birthday card turned out.

I decided to play along with the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with a Die Challenge.    I also played along with heARTful stamping challenge - anything goes + a stamp.   I created a 4 1/4 square birthday card using Hey Sugar and the Pattern Blocks stamp set.    To start, I stamped my cake and candle onto Premier Polar White card stock and colored with Copic markers and die cut it out with the Hey Sugar Confetti Cuts.   I die cut a scalloped circle from Flowers for Mom and the Circle Band from Iced Aqua and Buttercup cardstock and stamped with the Pattern Blocks stamp set with Iced Aqua and Buttercup inks.

I used a sentiment from Banners in Bloom stamp set.    For the card base, I used some white card stock and created a 4 1/4 card base.   I die cut the Blocked Out Square Panel from white card stock and backed it with some pattern paper from Fun Times paper pad.   I added some rain drops from Studio Katia and a little white gel pen and clear sparkle to the candle.

That is it for me today!   You can join the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with a Die challenge here! And heARTful stamping challenge here!  Have a great week!
