My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch - Santa's Elves - AGAIN!

Hey everyone!  I am on vacation today!  WOOT! WOOT!   So last night I was able to get crafty and get my card done for this week's sketch and posted early!   I had colored up some of the Santa's Elves images up last weekend and had them on my desk.   I had a card idea in my head for this week's sketch and after crafting for about an hour - the card turned out totally different than what I planned.   I took some liberties with the sketch :-)   I pulled out another Birdie Brown set, Jingle all the Way, and colored up the little girl and reindeer and added it to my card.   I just wasn't happy with just the elf on the right hand side and thought he needed some friends - especially with the cute sentiment.

I just love these little elves.    I love their little ears.   I stamped a bunch of them so that I could play around with different colors.     I pulled out a bunch of stuff to make this card.    By the way, have you hoped over to see the new release for November from My Favorite Things?   OMGEE!!!   I still have not used all my stuff from my last month's haul!

Here are the products that I used.  All products My Favorite Things unless I note otherwise.
Stamps:  Birdie Brown Santa's Elves, Birdie Brown Jingle all the Way, Snowfall Background, Sketched Chevron Background
Inks: Hybrid Black Licorice, Versamark, SSS Fog
Papers: Red Hot, Summer Splash, Grout Grey, Smooth White, Copic XPress it
Tools: Stitched Mountain Range, Stitched Snow Drifts, Snow Drifts, Blueprints 15, Lawn Fawn Red/White Twine, PPP Sparkling Clear Sequins, Clear Wink of Stella, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Copic Markers, White Sakura Gel Pen

Here is a close up of those sweet images.   I colored with Copic Markers.   My little elf needed some friends.   The card has a lot of dimension and just love those sparking sequins!

Hope you have a safe and Happy Halloween!!!

I am also adding this to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

  4. Great idea to put those images together. It looks like the elf is opening a present from the girl and reindeer and they are hoping he'll like it. lol
