Welcome back to the Countdown to Confetti September Holiday Release! Today we are sharing Halloween Gnomes and With a Thankful Heart stamp and Confetti Cuts. I have several projects to share with you today! So let's get started!
First up, you may remember the Holiday Gnomes stamp set that came out last year's holiday release! Now there is a Halloween Gnome stamp set! It is so adorable and has the cutest images in this set. I love decorating my house for Halloween, no stress just fun times! I decided to make some decor pieces this year and I was super excited for how they both turned out!
I used some adhesive to glue the stack together and then tied the stack off with some of the new This & That patterned paper and some ribbon. I stamped my images from Halloween Gnomes onto Premier Polar White card stock and then colored with my Copic markers. I used the matching Halloween Gnomes Confetti Cuts and die cut them out. I used the new Square Window Tag and die cut from Midnight and Rust card stock. I then added several of the images to my tag and tied it to the top of the book stack with some Halloween colored twine.
Next up, I had picked up this frame from my local home store. It had a double mat in the frame and I thought it would be perfect to make a small shadow box inside the frame.
I stamped more images from the Halloween Gnomes stamp set on Premier Polar White cardstock and colored again with my Copic markers. I inked a background with some Distress Oxides inks and then die cut it out with the new All the Stars Confetti Cut. I lined the back of the inked piece with some Midnight card stock.
I then stamped my sentiment from Halloween Gnomes directly onto the top mat. I then layered up my images inside the frame to create a mini shadow box. This really came together super easy and I can see doing more of these for the different seasons.
For my last project today, I made a Thanksgiving card using the new stamp set, With a Thankful Heart. I went for the traditional Thanksgiving colors. I used the new Stitched Circles Cover Panel and die cut it from Rust cardstock. I love this new cover panel with the details of the different sized circles and the stitched circles. I love the texture and the details that it adds to the card. I layered it on top of Stormy card base.
I used the Stitched Squares Confetti Cut and die cut a white panel and then cut it in half to mimic a table cloth. I stamped the pumpkin from the With a Thankful Heart stamp set and colored with my Copic markers. I die cut it out using the With a Thankful Heart Confetti Cut. There are additional layering images that you can color and add to the pumpkin or use as accents. I wanted my pumpkin to look like it was on a table scape.
The sentiment is from a previously released stamp set called Fall Foliage. I tied some twine around the card to finish it off. I added some additional details with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.
