Reverse Confetti - Moon Men

Happy Mother's Day!   I hope you have enjoyed your day!    I was able to sneak some craft time in this weekend and made a birthday card with the new Moon Men from Reverse Confetti.   I played along with Freshly Made Sketches for this card.

I started out ink blending with Bumblebee, Magenta and Wine inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock.   I splattered the panel with Copic White for my stars.   I then trimmed the panel down with Kindness Cards Confetti Cuts and trimmed another piece of yellow cardstock.    I stamped my images onto Premier Polar White cardstock and colored with Chameleon colored pencils.    I die cut them out with the Moon Men Confetti Cuts.   I added a present from Christmas Bear and the balloons from Monkey Business.

I first placed the panel on a white card base but I felt like it was too flat, so I decided to stamp the white card base with Elemental Stripes in Stone ink.   It is very subtle but added just the right touch.   I left the bottom clear and stamped a sentiment from Hey Sugar with black ink and stamped over with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.

For a final touch, I added some clear sequins.    Here is the link to Freshly Made  Sketches if you would like to play along, the challenge closes on Monday.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Mother's Day to all the special mom's out there!
