SugarPea Designs June Sweet Peek Week - Day One

Happy Monday!   I have a week full of Sweet Peeks for this month's release from SugarPea Designs! There is so much fun to share this week and today we are sharing several new things:  Meadow Motifs, Everyday Sentiments, Sentiment Strips SugarCuts and Spirograph Stencil.    I have three cards to share with you today using both stamps sets!

First up! I created this pair of cards that uses the same stamp design but changed each of them up just a little.   I started by creating a background with the Meadow Motifs and stamped one on white Neenah with black ink and the other on kraft with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I then die cut the panels with Front Element Builders scalloped panel.

I die cut two circles using the Zig Zag Stitched Circles one from Neenah and one from Bristol card stock.   I colored the Neenah circle with my Copics using oranges, blues and greens.   For the Bristol circle, I heat embossed this one and colored with my Zig markers with blues, purples and greens.

For my sentiments, I left the Sentiment Strips SugarCuts intact and die cut them several times out of black card stock.  I adhered several of them onto my MISTI and then stamped out several of the sentiments from Everyday Sentiments onto the tiny strips.   I just picked up the sheet that was in my MISTI and then poured the white embossing powder over the strips.    I kept them all on the sheet and then heat embossed them.   I did a whole bunch of them like this and it made it very easy.   Now I have sentiments stamped, embossed and ready to go.   I love that you can pair up the sentiments together and get so many uses from this one set!

For the white Neenah card, I added a few sparkling sequins and for the Kraft card, I tied some twine around the middle before adhering the circle to the panel.    I loved how both of these turned out and basically used the same card design and just changed them up slightly to make them a little different.

For my next card, I used some Old Olive cardstock and then ink blended with Peeled Paint, Forrest Moss and Black Soot Distress Oxides inks and the Spirograph Stencil that was slightly offset on the card panel.   I die cut the card panel with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle and added to an Old Olive card base.

Next I stamped some of the Meadow Motif images onto a die cut Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle and colored the images with my Copics.

I used reds, dark greens and purple for my color combo.    I used one of the Everyday Sentiments that I stamped out previously and then added to the card.
This design came together pretty quickly.  I loved the dark colors in this card design.

That is it for me today!   I will be sharing projects during the Sweet Peek Week!  Please be sure to come back for the next four days for more great new products from the SugarPea Designs June Release!   Be sure to leave comments along the way for a chance to win!  More details are on the SugarPea Designs blog!
