It's day two of the Countdown to Confetti January release! There are two very lovely stamps set that we are sharing with you today! There is a beautiful Butterfly Wreath stamp set along with a new tiny sentiment set called So Very Lovely.
As soon as I saw the Butterfly Wreath, I knew that I wanted to use my Zig's! I used purple, light gray and green as my color combination. I stamped the images from Butterfly Wreath with Versafine Onyx Black ink and then clear embossed it.
This is so helpful when you will be doing some watercoloring. I did not use a water brush but instead used a Zig blender pen to blend out the colors. This makes coloring the images go so much faster! For the base of my card panel, I used the new Stitched Scallops Cover Panel and die cut a white base.
I added my wreath with foam tape and then popped up the smaller and larger butterfly with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from Butterfly Wreath stamp set onto Midnight cardstock and white heat embossed it. For a final touch, I added some purple jewel embellishments.
Next up, I made these cute Valentine treats using the new So Very Lovely and the new Hearts Confetti Cuts.
The treat bags are from a previously released Bag & Tags Confetti Cuts. I die cut the bags from Piggy Bank, Rose and Cloud White cardstocks. These are so easy to create using the die. You cut two panels using the largest die and then score on the bottom, you can score at any level, I used 1 inch. Then glue the bottom scored edges together. I used a mini white paper clip to keep the bag closed. It is open along the sides. I then added a die cut heart banner using the Hearts Confetti Cuts and then trimmed the heart banner down.
I filled a small plastic treat bag with some Valentine Kisses and then just folded over the top and then add it to the bag. To embellish the bags, I stamped a sentiment from the So Very Lovely stamp set. There are 32 sentiments in this set! All centered around love!
I used the Hearts Confetti Cuts and the striped heart and die cut it from one side of the bag. On two of the bags, I used clear acetate behind the die cut image. Fo the Piggy Bank bag, I used some of the patterned paper from Sweet as Sugar 6 x 6 paper pad. On the Cloud White bag I also used the Stitched Scalloped Cover Panel. I added some gold hearts created by using the Congratulations Confetti Cuts.
