Club La-La Land Crafts January 2020 Kit First Look

Hey there!  I am guesting for Club La-La Land Crafts and sharing with you a first look at the January 2020 kit!   I am excited to join in with this month's kit!  I have two projects to share with you giving you some idea's using the January products.   

First up, these cute little pigs from Happy Mail stamp set, aren't they adorable?    There are three pig images in Happy Mail stamp set along with 4 sentiments.   I used two of the pigs and colored with my Copics - see the full list of markers used below.   I used two of the new dies from the kit called Mail Box and Envelopes Border.  The Mail Box die adds additional stitched and die cut lines that all you to open the mail flap.    I popped up the envelopes with some foam tape coming out of the mail flap for extra dimension.    

It is hard to see it but I die cut the white panel using the La-La Land Crafts Scalloped Rectangle dies and then embossed it with the Heart & Harlequin Laying Stencils to add hearts all over the panel!  It is subtle but oh so sweet in real life!    The sentiment is stamped onto a black sentiment strip that was die cut with the flag banner from Stitched Elements die.

The next stamp set is called Marci with Pen.  The stamp sets in this kit are red rubber and stamp out beautifully!   This set comes with Marci along with 5 sentiments.   There are so many ways that you can color her up.  I decided to color her in some pinks and reds and used my Copic markers to color her and added some details with a white gel pen.    The full list of my Copic markers used is below.   

After coloring Marci, I used several of the dies from the January kit called: Ink with Pen and the Envelopes Border.   I die cut the Ink with Pen from multiple card stocks in light grey, slate grey, white, red and brown.   I used some of the die cut lines to "paper piece"  the die cuts.   

My background was created by using the Scalloped Rectangle and Hearts & Harlequin Laying Stencils.   I used some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide and ink blended thru the Harlequin stencil and then added glitter embossing paste to add a touch of sparkle!   The sentiment was stamped onto a flag banner from the Stitched Elements die.   

I had so much fun creating these projects for today!!!
