Whimsy Stamps - May Mini Release - Cattitude & Kitty Cat Extra Die

Hey there! I two cards to share today for the new May Mini Release for Whimsy Stamps!

If you are a cat lover, then you will love this release!   There is a new Cattitude Stamp set with some really snarky sayings along with a new Fish and Mouse Border die and Kitty Cat Extra die set!

I have two cards to share - first up - Cattitude!   These kitties have some great personality.  I was going to color them but when I was creating my card and putting it together I decided just straight black and white cats looked great with the rainbow colors that I had in the background!

I used the Slimline Marquee die and created my panel and then backed it with a rainbow of colored cardstock.   Since I had already stamped my cats out onto a panel, then I strategically placed my die to make sure that I die cut each cat image perfect for the interior pieces.

I die cut from white cardstock the Fish and Mice Border die so that I could use the little mice to add to the white Slimline Marquee panel in between each of the die cut panels.

With the new Kitty Cat Extra Die and made an encouragement card.  When I saw those little fishes, I could not help but think of Goldfish Crackers!   I die cut from two different orange card stocks and then die cut a white one.  I trimmed some off the dark orange card stock and then adhered them all together with liquid adhesive.   Having all three layers made them very sturdy to be popped up on foam and if I put in the mail, they should hold their shape.

For the fishbowl, I cut several strips of blue card stock and then used some Stick-It Adhesive and covered a 3 x 4 panel of white card stock with the adhesive and then layered my blue strips onto the sticky panel.   I then die cut it with the Kitty Cat Extra's die.   I loved how it turned out!

The sentiment came from Hippo Beach Fun and was die cut out with the Quick Strips die.  I stamped the Buffalo Plaid Background stamp onto a white panel with light blue ink.   I then die cut the white panel with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle.

I then covered the fish with a clear glitter pen so that they sparkle!

Be sure to check out all the designers today and the inspiration that they will be sharing with today's mini release!  You can find the full May release here!
