Club La-La Land Crafts - March 2020 Club Kit Inspiration

Hey there!  I am back today to share some more inspiration from the March 2020 Club La-La Land kit!  I have two card projects to share with you today! 

I went with shades of peach and aqua for my cards today.  I started by stamping with the Happy Heart Background stamp with matching ink for a tone on tone look.  I added an aqua panel that had been partially die cut with the Scalloped Rectangles die.   I colored Marci with Ice Cream using my Copic markers.   A full list will be listed below.  

I used the Ice Cream die to create a multiple scoop delight! :-)  I die cut the label using the Stitched Elements die set and stamped my sentiment from What's the Scoop stamp set.   

I am getting so inspired by the Club La-La Land Crafts Design Team and their coloring skills and learning from them about adding small details with my Copic markers.   I made tiny little dots to create a pattern on her little tank top and added some stitching details to the skirt with my white gel pen.   Now, they have much better skills with the details than me but I am learning!   When you sign up for the Club kits we share PDF tutorials from each of the Design Team members and you get those via a PDF with your subscription!

For my next project, I created a card with a window cut out detail!   I started by coloring those adorable unicorns using the following Copics: 

Unicorn: R000, R00, R01, E40, E41, C01, C0

Hair: BG10, BG11, BG32

Horn: R20, R22

Cupcake: R22, R24, R27, E30, E31, E50, E53

I cut out a window from my A2 card panel with the Stitched Squares.   This gives you a peek into the inside of the card which has a surprise!  The panel on the inside of the card has been completely finished with the Ice Cream die cuts.   I created a background of ice cream cones with cherries.  It was just too cute to cover up which gave me the idea to put it on the inside of the card and create the window.   I added a label using the Stitched Elements die.  This way you can add a quick message or another sentiment!  

For my sentiment, I used the You Are Sweet die and cut it from the same dark peach card stock and adhered it to the front panel!
