Whimsy Stamps - Butterflies and Hexagon Treat Boxes

Happy Saturday!  I am so happy it is the weekend and it has been just a beautiful week!   The sun has been shining and it has been getting warmer.   I love being outside and enjoy when we can start doing outdoor activities!  

I am popping in to share with you some treat boxes that I made with the Whimsy Stamps Butterflies 

stamp set and Hexagon Treat Box die.   

I started by stamping with one of the butterflies onto some light grey card stock.  I repeated the stamp all over the card stock to create a background pattern.   Next I assembled the boxes together.   

I stamped out several of the butterfly images onto white card stock and then cut them out.   I colored them in with my Copic markers and added details with a white gel pen.  Just look at how the white gel pen makes the coloring and images pop!   

I adhered them to the boxes with foam tape and bent them upwards so that they added dimension to the boxes.   I stamped sentiments from the Butterflies stamp set and die cut them out with the Quick Strips die.
