Whimsy Stamps - Greedy Santa

Hey there!   Sharing a card with this cute rubber stamp new from Whimsy Stamps called Greedy Santa!   

I stamped it onto Neenah cardstock and color with my Copic markers.   I added some snow with my white gel pen.   I die cut the stamped image out with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle.   I layered this onto red cardstock.   

The card base was made from olive green cardstock and stamped with Buffalo Plaid stamp set with olive green ink.   

I stamped the sentiment onto a Quick Strip die cut black banner and white heat embossed it.   

How fun is this card!  

SugarPea Designs - Mix It Up Challenge - Monster Mash

 Hello!  I am playing along with the SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge!  I used one of my favorite halloween stamp sets called Monster Mash.   I stamped the images out and colored with my Copic markers.  I then used the Monster Mash SugarCut to die cut the images out.   To accessories my monsters I also used a few stamps from Bewitched and Hey Fall.  

For my main card panel, I stamped the Buffalo Check Background stamp set.   I stamped Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink onto a light grey panel.   I die cut it with the Card Front Element Builder III SugarCut. 

I followed the design of the card panel and used the stitched squares from the Card Front Element Builder III die.   I then stamped a sentiment from Monster Mash and trimmed them down and added to my panel.

Whimsy Stamps - Slimline Fancy Frame

 Hey there!   I am popping in to share with you this new Slimline die from Whimsy Stamps.   This new Slimline Fancy Frame has so many great details.  There is a scalloped wavy frame along with an interior frame.  The die includes piercing details as well!   I did not show it below but it has a great banner sentiment strip.   

I used the Elf Sized stamp set to create my card.  These images are just too cute.  I stamped them and colored with my Copic markers and then die cut with the Elf Sized die.   

The sentiment is from Elf Sized stamp set.   The interior frame was adhered directly down to the card panel and then I popped up the outer Slimline Fancy Frame onto the panel with foam tape.

Annual 31 Nights of Halloween Blog Celebration!

It's no secret that I love Halloween!  I love making my house all spooky inside and out.  I love making Halloween cards and projects - it is so much fun!  The creepier and spookier - the better!   It's no secret that the Spooktacular stamp set released in August was one that I absolutely adore! 

I love these cheeky little ghost images!  They have that old time ghostly shape but with a fresh twist with their selfies and snarky little attitudes!   I added a little Copic coloring to each one and then trimmed them out for the card.   

I used the new Build a Graveyard die set - so excited to finally get my hands on this set and it arrived just in time for my card to be made!!!!  I love the sentiments in the Grave Epitaphs stamp set and this one rang true for me this year -- Here Lies Your Youth!!!  When you can't get to your hairdresser every 4-5 weeks- I mean it really starts to show! 

I used some Distress Oxide inks to create my spooky night scene with Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon, Wilted Violet and Black Soot.   I die cut the panel out with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die.  I die cut my grave from the Build-a-Graveyard die set and started to create my spooky graveyard.   I love all the little bits and pieces that come with this die set.  You get bats, skulls, cats, a fence along with multiple sets of gravestones.   I love that you can even add the little cracks into the stone with the Grave Epitaphs stamp set!

Whimsy Stamps

 Hey there!  Well I have moved right onto Christmas with the new mini release from Whimsy Stamps!  

Today, I am sharing a card made with the new Polka Dot Pals Brianna and the Tartan paper pack.   

I colored Brianna up with my Copic markers.  I love the additional stamp of sweets and tiny mouse!   I trimmed the images out and then layered on top of a die cut oval from the Spring Ovals Die Set.   

If you love plaid, then you will love the new Tartan paper pack.  It is loaded with beautiful Christmas plaids that will be perfect for the holidays! 

The sentiment was stamped from Candy Mouse onto the curved sentiment strip from the new Slimline Fancy Frame die.    For a final touch, I added crystal glaze and a sparkle pen.

Club La-La Land Crafts - October Kit - Another look

Here is another look at the contents from the October Kit from Club La-La Land Crafts.   First up - this kit is perfect to make a fall thank you gift, hostess or teacher gift!   I packaged up some caramel and an apple and made a cute tag for the gift with the October kit.  

I started with a Large Stitched Tag and die cut from aqua and white cardstock.  I stamped the aqua panel with the Just for You background stamp in aqua ink.   I die cut two of the apples using the Apple die.   I die cut the Apple Pie die from white and kraft cardstock.   

I stamped two of the images from The Apple in my Pie stamp set and colored with my Copic markers.   I colored the apples one red and one yellow/red.   These were popped up on the tag with some foam tape.  My copic marker list is below - I colored these hedgehogs using a different color combination.

The sentiment is from The Apple of my Pie stamp set and was white heat embossed onto black cardstock strip.   

For my next project, I created a card using both stamp sets and the Apple Orchard and Apple die.   I started with a Large Stitched Tag again and stamped it with the Your Kindness background stamp.   I then added a Large Half Doily to the top and colored the Apple die cut with my Copic markers.   You will see the full list below.   

I added the Apple Orchard to create the landscape for the card using green and brown cardstock.   I stamped the images from Marci with Apple and The Apple in my Pie stamp set and colored with my Copic markers.   The apples were colored like Honeycrisp apples which are my favorite!   I added some details to her hat with my Copic 0 Blender pen and a white gel pen. 

 The sentiment is from The Apple of my Pie and was white heat embossed onto black strip of card stock.

Whimsy Stamps - October Mini Release - Dragon Christmas Cheer

 It's release day at Whimsy Stamps!   I have some cute projects to share with you over the next couple of weeks.   I had to color up this new Dragon Christmas Cheer.   These dragon images just are so cute.  I love this one all tangled up in the lights.  

I paired the dragon with some of the new pattern paper pack called Tartan!  Isn't this so Christmas - just love the plaids!   I die cut a circle out of the paper and created a frame with the Pierced and Stitched Circles die. 

The sentiment was stamped on the new banner from the Slimline Fancy Frame Die.   Don't worry - I have a card coming up with this new die as well that I will share soon!

Whimy Stamps - Elf Sized

Hey there!  Popping in to share a cute card that has been made with the Elf Sized stamp set.  I used the newly released Cosmic Swirl background stamp.   The Elf Sized stamp is out of stock but you can sign up for email notifications when this is back in stock!

I stamped the image out and colored with my Copic markers.   I die cut them out with the matching Elf Sized dies.   They are so adorable.   

I stamped the Cosmic Swirl Background stamp onto red cardstock with red ink.   I die cut it out with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles.   I die cut another panel with white and green cardstock with another layer from the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die and added some snowflakes from the Shaker Maker Glitter Globe die.  

The sentiment was stamped and die cut out with the Comic Speech Bubble die.

Club La-La Land Crafts October Kit Reveal

 Hello!  It's time for the October Monthly Kit reveal at Club La-La Land Crafts!  This is such an adorable fall apple themed stamp and die kit!  I start my first project by stamping Marci with Apples and coloring with my Copic markers. You can see the full list below.   

I love to create scene cards so I used the new Apple Orchard die to create my scene.   I really love background stamps to add different textures to colored cardstock.  For this project I used:  Just for You, Simple Joys and Your Kindness background stamps.  There are so many wonderful options to pair with your monthly card kit.   I added the Row of Clouds die cut to finish out my apple orchard scene!

For my next project, I made a Slimline card that is 7.5 inches by 8.5 inches for the card base.  The main panel is 3.5 inches by 8.25 inches. I decided to create little mini scenes on the slimline design to use up all those adorable hedgies from The Apple of my Pie Rubber Stamp Set!  I used the Scalloped Rectangles Die and Pierced Scalloped Circles die set along with the same background stamps used above for this project!  

For the top scene, I created an apple pie with the Apple Pie die and inked the edges like it had been baked!   I did two of them and then cut one pie down into slices to sprinkle about my card panel.  The second mini scene uses the Apple Orchard die with a small slice of pie! 

I colored all my hedgehogs with the same Copic markers.  See the list below:
