SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week Day 2

Welcome back to day 2 of the SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week!   I am loving this new release!   I had so much fun with today's sweet peeks!  I have to admit that after making this card, I have heard Lady Gaga singing in my head "Telephone".

I used the new Vintage Telephone SugarCut to create the focal point on my panel.  I decided to go with the vintage touch and used some soft pink, black and grey for my main colors and then added some red, purple and green with the flowers from a previous released Floral Pocket Tag SugarCut.  The sentiment is from the new Call Me stamp set along with the small numbers that were stamped for the dial.   I layered the phone onto a die cut circle from the Birch Tree SugarCut.

How about the new Chevron Cover Plate!  Perfect pairing with the pink and black don't you think?  There are so many ways that you can do this panel, you can do a die cut inlay with all one color or a variety of color.  I simply backed the panel with a black piece of cardstock and trimmed it down slightly smaller than the Chevron Cover Plate.

That is it for me today!   I really loved how this card turned out and it's one of my favorites from the new release! Be sure to come back for sweet peeks through Thursday and the release will go live on Friday!

  7. Lovely card in black and white. The telephone reminds me of the bakelite phone we had at home in the past. The added flowers give the card a touch of colour.
