Hey there!! It's day one of the Sweet Peek Week at SugarPea Designs! We have some adorable new products from the Fall release to share with you this week. The release is available on Friday, August 28th. In the meantime, I will be sharing the new products over the next several days.
My first project today is using the new Beautiful Books. This stamp set is perfect for the book lover! I stamped several of the books and flowers from the stamp set in chocolate brown, aqua, lime green, yellow and coral inks.
I die cut my images out with the matching Beautiful Books SugarCut. I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Books stamp set onto a tag from the Envelope Liner Sugarcut. For my background, I stamped the Handwritten Letter Background stamp onto kraft ink with chocolate brown ink.
I just love the glasses and had to add them to the pile of books and flowers. To finish off the card, I added some crystal jewels across the panel. I used the Card Front Element Builder to die cut my panel.
Next up, I used the new Open Books SugarCut and created this fall inspired decor. I used a picture frame and created my project for a 4x6 inch picture frame. I stamped the background with the Buffalo Check background stamp with light grey ink onto light grey cardstock. I added a strip of mustard cardstock to one end and stamped with a sentiment from the Beautiful Books stamp set. I adhered it to the right side of the background panel.
I then die cut some of the flowers and leaves from several different colors of cardstock. I die cut the book pages from cream cardstock and the book cover from a red violet cardstock. I adhered the pages and the book together with foam tape in between to add dimension. I added a bookmark from the Open Book SugarCut. I added a small amount of twine to the bookmark. I stamped a sentiment from Beautiful Books onto one of the pages.
I then started adding flowers and leaves to the panel and scattered some across the panel. I love the sunglasses in the Open Book SugarCut. I die cut them from mustard and steel grey cardstock and then adhere them together from the back with some tape.
Well that is it for me today! Be sure to hop along to all of the Design Team posts!
