Whimsy Stamps - Birfday Dragons

Hello!  I made this adorable birthday card with the new Dustin Pike's Birfday Dragon's stamp set from Whimsy Stamps!  

I love Dustin's dragon images this set is one that will make you smile.   I stamped the image with the present and then colored with my Copic markers.   I colored him green but you could color him any way that you want!   

I used one of my favorite color combinations of bright yellow and aqua for the card panel.   I added some hot pink to match the bow from the image.   I used the Comic Burst A2 die for the panel and to create the sentiment.   I added the aqua clouds using the Grass and Cloud border die.  

I finished off the image by adding some dot details using my Copic markers and white gel pen.   I went with the Belated Birthday Wishes from the Birfday Dragon stamp set.

Whimsy Stamps - Gnome Haunted Forest

 Hello!  I am sharing this Halloween card made with the Whimsy Stamps Gnome Haunted Forest.  I did some watercolor on this card which I have not done in a long time!  

Once I watercolored the image, I layered it behind a black card panel that had a circle die cut using the Pierced and Stitched Circles die.   I added some sparkly stars using the Primitive Shapes die.  

The sentiment is from Spirited Sentiments!

Whimsy Stamps - Spooky Halloween

I hope that you don't get tired of all the Halloween posts.   I just love fall, pumpkins, mums, Halloween, the change of the leaves.   I put out some new fall flowers in all my planters and today I went to take a look at the beautiful colors and all the flowers are gone!  They were eaten down to the nubs by the lovely deer in our neighborhood.   That is right, not one flower left on the ten pots that I planted.  I guess it is time to put out the Spooky Halloween decorations with all the lights and sounds and maybe they will stay away from my yard! :-) 

On to my card today, I combined two cute Whimsy Stamps sets:  Spooky Kitties and Sheets & Giggles.   I giggle every time I say the names.    

I think these ghosts need a little lesson in real spooky talk!  They look like they are having way too much fun!   I thought this sentiment from Spirited Sentiments was perfect for this scene.   I used the Comic Speech Bubbles die and trimmed off the tail at the bottom.   I used Ranger Black Sparkle Embossing Powder for the sentiment. 

I used the Slimline Stars die for the card panel and ink blended behind the panel with the new Crackling Campfire, Wild Honey and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide inks.  I added a few crystal jewels for a little sparkle.

Club La-La Land Crafts - More Inspiration with the September Kit!

Welcome back for more inspiration with the Club La-La Land Crafts September kit!   I have two cards to share with you today and first up is Marci with Laptop!   

I colored her with my Copic markers, the full list is below.   She is super cute with her leopard hair band.  I love the sentiment #bosslady!  I used the Spring Has Sprung paper pack for my card today.   I die cut the Retro Lamp from some of the patterned paper and kraft card stock and pieced them together.  I added a gold foil heart using the Desk Accessories die.  

I layered a die cut Pierced Scalloped Circle with a Stitched Nested Circle die cut for Marci.   I added more of the Desk Accessories from the kit to fill up the circle.   The sentiment was stamped from the Getting It Done stamp set and then die cut with the Stitched Elements die.

Next up is the Getting It Done stamp set!   I had this idea, much like in an office setting all the little piggies are sitting at their workstation like in a steno pool!  We have the one pig that is a rebel and running on top of the furniture breaking free for the weekend! 😂

I stamped the aqua cardstock with the Your Kindness background stamp.  At the top of the card panel, I have multiple monitor's with the main one with the Shift to the Weekend sentiment from Getting It Done stamp set.   I added the die cut hearts to the other monitors.   I covered it with crystal glaze. 

I die cut the Retro Desk and Desk Accessories to match the steno pool! Ha Ha! I was going with a rainbow theme.   I added another sentiment on the bottom of the card.   This is a 5.25 square card.

Whimsy Stamps - Stamptember - Happy Pugmas

Hey there!  Happy Stamptember!  Whimsy Stamps has this super cute holiday set called Happy Pugmas that they created for Stamptember!  This set is only available through Simon Says Stamp! 

I had so much fun coloring these little pugs!   I stamped them onto Neenah cardstock and then colored with my Copic markers.   I trimmed all of the images out.  I could not help myself but stamp and color each of the pugs!   They are all decked out for the holidays.  

I used the Slimline Pillows die for my card panel.  I also die cut it out with red and green cardstock and then stamped the die cuts with the Buffalo Plaid Background stamp with matching ink.   

For the sentiments, I used the Comic Speech Bubbles Die set - it went perfect with the scene that I created.  I then added some finishing touches with my white gel pen and Christmas Red Stickles.

Whimsy Stamps - Happy Haunting

 Hey there!  I have another Halloween card to share with you using the new mini release from Whimsy Stamps.   These cards were super easy to create!  I used the new Vampire Paper Pack paired with the Haunted Parade die set and the new Spirited Sentiments stamp set.   

These cards came together so quickly using the super spooky Vampire Paper Pack.  I just loved the designs in this pack!   So much fun!   They have some really cool designs and make card making super fun!  The supplies I used today would be great to make cards with your kids! 

I have a super cute idea that I will be sharing soon with the Haunted Parade die set!   Just wait - there are so many ways that you can use this for your halloween crafting this year!  I love the sentiments in the Spirited Sentiments stamp set and love that they have little cute ghosts that you can fussy cut out.

Whimsy Stamps - Eye Scream

Hello!   It's a new mini release at Whimsy Stamps!   I made this super creepy Halloween card with the new Eye Scream stamp set along with the new Slimline Wobbly Window die.   

I started out by die cutting the Slimline Wobbly Window die from black cardstock.   I just love the Slimline dies at Whimsy.   I then inked my card panel with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks so that there was a spooky glow behind the windows.  I splattered with black and white paint and set aside to dry.  

I stamped the images from Eye Scream and colored with my Copic markers.   I had so much fun adding details to the images with some Distress Stickles, white paint pen and crystal glaze.   I stamped a sentiment from the set and die cut it out with the Comic Speech Bubbles set.   To finish off the card,  I added black Nuvo drops.

Club La La Land Crafts Kit - September Reveal

Hello!  It's time for the September Monthly Kit reveal at Club La-La Land Crafts!  I love the theme this month - work from home!  There are two new exclusive stamp sets and dies that are only available through the monthly kit.  This month we have Marci with Laptop and Getting Things Done stamp set.  I just love those piggies!  Along with the exclusive stamps there is also a coordinating die set that includes Retro Lamp, Retro Desk and Desk Accessories die set.   

For my first project - with the retro vibe of the dies, I decided to go for a modern look and die cut the desk white with a pink lamp.  She has a mood board behind her to give her some inspiration.   To create the mood board, I used the Scalloped Rectangle die and the Everything is Rosy Layering Stencil.   

I stamped the sentiment on the computer monitor and then covered with crystal glaze.   I love the retro computer sentiments in both the stamp sets!   I added her pink mug and flashy silver pen. 

I love creating scene cards!  I colored Marci with my Copic markers and created her flowered leggings with a really simple technique.  You can see the full Copic list of markers used below.    I added one of the pigs from Getting Things Done to the scene.

For my next project, I created a tag to go along with this giant Godiva Chocolate bar.   I have been working from home since March and traditionally I work in the office.  One thing I miss is visiting my coworkers and sharing sweet treats!   I thought this would be cute to send to one of my coworkers!  

I used the Large Stitched tag and the Love You More paper pack.   I added the Stitched Zigzags die cuts to ground my pigs.   Do you see how I changed up the lamp!   Take a look at my video below and see what I did to stretch my die cut!  

I love that you can put the sentiments into the computer monitor!  Again I added some crystal glaze to the monitor.  This is such an adorable set - and these pigs are some of my favorites from La-La Land Crafts.

SugarPea Designs - Hey Fall

 Hey there!  I love the new Hey Fall stamp set.   Those little bears are just too cute.  I can't wait to decorate for all and until then, I will make fall cards!   I stamped by stamping the Buffalo Check stamp set with yellow ink onto yellow cardstock.   I die cut it out with the Card Front Element Builder III SugarCuts.  I added a strip of aqua cardstock to my panel.   

I stamped the Hey Fall images and colored with my Copics.   I die cut them out with the matching Hey Fall SugarCuts.   Copics I used: E50, E51, E53, E30, E33, E13, E15, E18, B11, B53, YR09, YR07, YR04, YG01, YG03, E23, E25, YR24, YR21, Y21.   I die cut the circle from the Birch Forest SugarCuts. 

For the Sentiment, I stamped one from Hey Fall and die cut it out with the Sentiment Strips SugarCuts.  I added some Nuvo in Dandelion Yellow.
